A nice place. that it's been around for almost 50 years says a lot. the kung pao chicken is a solid lunch.

The most authentic Hunan cuisine in the US, period. The seasoning is spicy, strong while highlighting the food’s original taste. I am so happy to see a restaurant that is not contaminated by fake American Chinese food like orange chicken.

The best Hunan restaurant on the west coast. (I'd like to say the best in the US but haven't been to the east coast for a couple years now) They have an Authentic menu and a somehow Americanized menu. Ask for the former one. I am sad that they're not opening on weekends and it's hard for me to travel all the way up to the city during the weekdays but I will try to go there more often. Service is also great comparing to most other Chinese restaurants in the Bay area (definitely not Michelin level good but cozy and helpful

I've been enjoying the same delicious dishes for nearly 30 years. Marty's Special is unmatched in deliciousness. Get it spicy, then cool off with beans thread salad.

Solid food with an upscale Chinatown type of space. The tables have Chinese zodiac horoscopes. Table service is a little clunky, but the food came out quickly at least. It's a huge space, so probably would work well for a big group.

Wanting to try this place for such a long time, but not usually in this neighborhood. Today all the stars aligned up and met friends for lunch and all agreed to return! Henry's did not disappoint. We ordered family style for 4 and the dishes included Mongolian beef, chicken with green beans, pork fried rice, shrimp chow mein, orange sauce chicken. Note, spicy is not that spicy. The freshness of the food was noted and there was plenty of food to take away. The staff was friendly and efficient. I can understand how they have survived for 50 years and I hope they continue to prosper!

Mongolian beef and dumplings. The beef does not come with broccoli but I added to my dish for $3. Worth it for sure. Beef was flavorful and tender. The dumplings I would pass on. The sauce was 'off'... It messed up the experience of eating a pork dumpling. Not horrible, just not very good either.

Well, I didn't fully understand what we ordered, but it is a very good place if you like real Chinese food. My group had 2 Chinese people and they were delighted with the food and the place. Be careful with ordering spicy food, as it might be TOO spicy! Try to order some sauce on the side and try it. Good for vegetarians as well, as there are many options

The best Chinese food I've had in years. Food was fresh and tasty. Service was fast and friendly. Very clean and great atmosphere. I'm confused by some of these negative reviews. They seem to be talking about another restaurant.
