Great pizzeria. Love everything here, super creative and very tasty, my favorite is the fantastic whole wheat arugula pizza with goat cheese.
Best Pizza. Farina Pizza is a place to be in after office to have a delicious pizza and wine. very cool place very artistic and good interior design.
They use excellent Italian imported ingredients ... but ingredients are not the only thing brought in from Italy: the pizzaiolo from Naples, is a 5th generation pie maker. The pizza was definitely a knife and fork affair where picking up a slice was just not possible....
Why did we dine here? – Farina Pizza is a sister restaurant down the block from Farina Restaurant, in San Francisco’s gentrified Mission district. They serve dishes from Executive chef Paolo Laboa and Neapolitan pizzas by master pizzaoli, Antonio and Gennaro Langella. True Italians.
Nice place with a simple menu but great wood fired pizza. One of my preferred pizza places in the mission.
Very casual but delicious, authentic pizza joint. The pop art theme inside makes the environment lively. I've gone a few times and never had a reservation but they were able to seat us every time. Wait staff is extremely friendly and attentive. One of my favorite restaurants in SF.
I believe that Farina makes some of the best pizzas in the Bay Area, and I have tried a ton of pizza places throughout the area.
I am an extremely picky eater but have fallen in love with food at Farina that I would have never eaten at other restaurants. The cappuccino is fantastic-- and I strongly dislike caffeine. The calamari is to die for as well. I have taken my own family, my boyfriend's family, and various other friends to Farina and they all have loved it.
The pizzas are large enough to split between two people, and I think priced in a fair way. The ingredients are really high quality. The dining experience is very personal if you are sitting at the bar/pizza counter-- a much more personal experience than I would say most restaurants offer.
Overall I highly recommend their food & will be returning soon!
We had lunch at Farina one sunny day. Coming from Europe we were really keen on getting a slice of that wonderful Italian cuisine. Farina definitely had a thing or two to offer. We were more than satisfied with both our food and our service. Highest of recommendations.
P.S. The price may be a little too high for some people, so consult a menu before making reservations.
Pesto is amazing. Focaccia is also very good. A bit overpriced and they need more servers and waitstaff to really bring up the quality of service. Rooftop is pretty sexy. Take a date here for drinks and nibbles.
Enjoyed a Sunday evening wedding/dinner here with family and friends. Was kind of surprised that other than the 40 in our party there wasn't many other patrons. Our meal was delicious. The pasta was simple and unpretentious. Steak was cooked to perfection.
I prefer this location to the more formal one around the corner. Their pizzas are good, though not the best in the city, but try their pastas! The pappardelle with rabbit sauce is out of this world. Usually easy to find seating.
Great Italian place in the mission! It's on the pricey side, but the food is delicious. They have another location that just serves pizza. They also have a full bar and cocktails. The ambiance is incredible!
Good pizza, great idea to offer a 9$ menu for take out, original decor but still classy. The pizza sauce couldve used more seasoning or fresh herbs, but we ate it all without any regrets!
I like it, a lot. I think people are comparing this to Delfina when they should be comparing it to Una Pizza.
The pizzas are about on par with Una Pizza though a little cheaper. Yes, both places don't cut the pizza. Yes, the pizzas are delicious. Get the Montanara (a deep fried pizza appetizer).
They have a great beer selection.
The decor is outstanding.
They have a separate take-out counter.
