Aroma Tea Shop

A great tea shop find in San Francisco! We stumbled across Aroma Tea Shop while looking for a nearby bakery and what a find. There are a huge number of loose leave tea choices, sold by the ounce. The owner was super knowlegeable and happy to brew us a few samples. The Lychee Strawberry is a great cold brew Ice Tea and the Vanilla Black tea is my current favorite. The real find of the day was the Earl Grey Chocolate bar, I can't wait to go back and get that again.

Aromatic teas and great service make this place worth visiting. The tea here is expensive, but it smells amazing. It's rarely busy and you can buy tea gift boxes, teacup sets, and t-shirts in addition to loose leaf teas. If you're very serious about tea, you can get fancy teapots and teacups here. If you're unsure of what you want, just ask whoever's working. I've never felt rushed and service has always been pleasant. The lychee black tea smelled incredible and tasted good too.

This is an amazing tea shop with so many good quality teas! The owner will let you taste pretty much anything if you would like to. He also seemed super knowledgeable about the teas and described them in excellent detail! Walking into the shop, I was surprised at how many teas there were and thought I'd never be able to decide what to purchase, but he helped me narrow it down to a small group of very different teas by describing their similarities and differences. I'll definitely return when I'm ready to purchase more tea!
