This place is off the hook wonderful. The food is so fresh, the choices are excellent. And the oysters are so delicious. Great service, good wines and beers, and superb food. Enjoy!

Great little place on mission street, with a equally great happy hour menu for oysters in a half shell.

Came for a friend’s birthday for the first time and was not disappointed! Plenty of options on their menu and we started with oysters which they had a good selection of and ordered a cioppino since I’m a huge fan of this dish in the Bay Area! Eyes were probably bigger than my stomach since this dish could’ve easily been for two people but I decided to tackle it solo. Great flavors and the garlic bread on top was a nice touch and gives you something to dip and take in all the flavor. Will definitely be back when I have the chance!

We started out with oysters, of course, and they were all amazing! We had 2 of each for happy hour and thoroughly enjoyed them. Next we had the “leche de tigre”. It was absolutely delicious! So fresh and flavorful! All the meals coming out of the kitchen looked amazing! Definitely we will go back!! It was an awesome place!

Whenever I visit San Francisco, I'm filled with anticipation to devour some delectable oysters. Among the many varieties from Washington and British Columbia, the kumomotos oysters truly stand out. The local Miyagi oysters, on the other hand, are somewhat average. However, I absolutely love the black mussels since they make up for not having the green lip variety, and they taste fantastic too. The sauce accompanying the seafood is exceptionally flavorful, especially when dipped with bread. We relished every last drop of the broth. The calamari prepared in the Peruvian style provided a unique twist, although the slightly sour taste wasn't quite to my preference. All in all, it was a wonderful lunch experience!

As usual I got oysters and some beer. Food was amazing, For entree I had some grilled halibut with homemade basil sauce, mashed potatoes and steam vegetables. However, main reason why I want to come back is Ronny, he was very sweet and welcoming, true gentleman. Please if you read this let him know that! Thanks

Amazing Latino/Family owned restaurant right in the heart of the Mission District. The Stuffed Sole with Dungeness crab, shrimp, mashed potatoes and veggies is one of the best seafood American dishes I ever had. Please pair with a nice cold Stella or some local white Chardonnay. I also recommend the avocado dunge crab salad. The oyster selection is incredible!!!

Many decades ago, I enjoyed some wonderful meals at the Italian seafood restaurants at Fisherman‘s wharf. It’s a different city now, and I can’t remember the last time I went to a restaurant on that side of town. But I can re-create that last century experience every time I sit down at Mission Street oyster bar. we have to order the scallops every time we see it on the menu, because they’re fabulous and just melt in your mouth. The portions are generous, and of course they have the classic sourdough bread that you have to indulge in for the complete SF seafood restaurant experience. Highly recommend it! Jan - 2022 update The scallops are perfect
