Great pizza shop rated 4 1/2 stars. Near the Presidio & Palace of the Fine Arts. Great local pizza 🍕 shop. Nice neighborhood to walk around. Walked to from Palace of the Fine Arts.

First of all I want to clarify that I have never eaten at this place before. The review will simply be about my experience here.
I do not live in SF. A few weeks ago, I was visiting a relative there and while taking the bus, I got off at the wrong stop and got lost. I was very scared because I’m just a girl alone in a relatively empty street and my phone just happened to die not too long after. I tried everything, taking the next bus, walking a few minutes to try to find the street I was supposed to meet my relative at but it was 7pm and too cold so I just stood there at the bus stop defeated. Just praying and praying that I could find a way to solve this issue of mine which is when I noticed a man who kept looking at me with a concerned expression on his face from the store across the street from me. I tested my luck and crossed the road. The same man immediately walks out of the store with a warm smile on his face and asks me if I wanted a free slice of pizza. I was overjoyed, and so happy that this man had kind intentions and somehow noticed me struggling. Though I had to refuse his offer because I was fasting at the time, I made sure he knew I was thankful. Then he offered I go inside his pizza place because it’s warmer than outside. He told me I could make a phone call when I asked and he was overall very kind. He kept asking if I was sure about the pizza. He was even cleaning the place but made sure I was comfortable. I know I didn’t have any of his food but it sure smelled great. I am not in sf anymore but if and when I do go back, I’m going to this place firsthand and supporting this business. Owner, if you’re reading this, I’ll never forget your kind gesture.

One of the best Pizza places I have EVER had in my life and I'm 46 and well-traveled... Every time we are in SF it's a planned stop that we look forward to in the days leading up. They make a crust that balances a crunching crust and sturdy bottom to support delicious, and fresh, piled on toppings and generous cheese...in the perfect combination that creates a perfect pizza. They also make a great meatball sandwich and the salads are delicious... We have never had bad food or a less than great experience here... Over 20 visits.. THAT'S SAYING SOMETHING!!!

Yea! Tasty HUGE pizza by the slice. Soda fountain had no ice but Coke cold anyways due to weather. Rainy SF day with great pizza for lunch. I like how the sales guy heated the pizza in a real pizza oven for about five minutes to warm it up and make it crispy. Place was crowded here at noontime.

Cheese bread and meatball sandwich was delicious. Gave me an accurate ETA for food. Employee was very friendly.

In the area, we stopped in here to grab a couple of slices for a quick lunch. The serving size is a decently large slice, and they have a good variety of pizza to choose from for the lunch slices.
The pizza dough is a relatively thin and crispy crust, foldable, but not floppy. The sauce was flavorful, but not remarkable. The combined flavors of the pizza was exactly what I was looking for and was satisfying. Overall, I'd stop here again for lunch!

Very authentic and the ingredients were freshly chopped and placed on the pizza when ordered. Enjoyed this spot, right around the corner from the Walt Disney Family Museum. Outdoor dining as well. We paid about $35 for a medium Lombard and 2 drinks.

Large slices heavily loaded with toppings. One is more than enough for the average person. The inside is not fancy. Prices were reasonable.

Pretty solid slice of pizza. The sauce could be a bit better, in my opinion. About $4.50 for a slice. Which is a bit higher than NYC.
