Great service, delicious food and they are usually pretty consistent. Unfortunately, the meats were overdone on my last visit and quite dry.
Solid food overall, but a pretty bad location in Tenderloin. San Francisco has changed quite a bit, which is sad!

If you're looking for an incredible Turkish restaurant with delicious, halal food, look no further than A La Turca! From the moment you walk in, you'll be transported to a world of rich flavors and delightful aromas.
One of the standout dishes at A La Turca has to be their lahmacun. This traditional Turkish dish is a flatbread topped with spiced ground meat and vegetables, and it is absolutely mouth-watering. The flavors are perfectly balanced, and the bread is crispy and satisfying.
But the lahmacun is just the beginning at A La Turca. The menu is full of other delicious dishes, from succulent kebabs to flavorful dips and spreads. Everything is made with fresh, high-quality ingredients, and you can really taste the care that goes into each dish.
One thing that really stands out about A La Turca is the friendly and welcoming staff. They are always happy to help you navigate the menu and find the perfect dish for your taste. The atmosphere of the restaurant is cozy and inviting, with a warm and welcoming vibe that will make you feel right at home.
In short, if you're looking for an amazing Turkish restaurant in San Francisco, look no further than A La Turca. With their incredible lahmacun, delicious menu, and welcoming staff, this is a restaurant that should be on every food lover's list. Don't miss out on this hidden gem!
Lahmacun is highly recommendedđâď¸

Iskander kebap is good. New to Turkish cuisine, I appreciate the combination of meat, tomatoes and cubed bread which make for a balanced meal with great flavors.
Service is good; attentive and personalized.
Ambiance is good and I feel safe on this northern edge of Tenderloin. I'll be back!!

Great customer service and staff are very attentive and making sure you enjoy your meal. The la Manchu is great and bread is nice and crispy. The chicken plate is also very good and chicken is well cooked.

A great tucked away spot you never knew about. That's house I'm going to remember this place.
Menu had soo many yummy items, I ended up going with the basic to get a taste for the place.
The DĂśner was great after a long walk; the rice was lightly flavored, bread was delicious & baked in house, house made soup sauce to accompany it all, but the salad could use some love. Veggies in the salad tasted like those precut bags from Safeway (kinda soggy & no crunch) would be better with some fresh cut.
4/5 as everything else was great, definitely going back to explore that menu.

We had a terrific dinner here last night! We had the hummus, the lahmacun and the beyti kebab, kunefe - all delicious. Their bread, which they make every morning, is the lightest Iâve ever had. We also enjoyed the white wine from Turkey we had. The restaurant is obviously popular with locals, but we were made to feel right at home by Mine. Weâll definitely be back next time weâre in San Francisco.

Great tasting food, nice atmosphere and decor, polite and prompt customer service, and reasonable prices. Was a little surprised that their Shepard salad comes with no feta cheese, but they were happy to add some for me. Iâve had slightly better beef kabobs at some other Turkish places, but everything tasted great and would definitely be a repeat customer. Kinafa dessert was also yummy.

Food here tastes exactly like in turkey.
Especially the lahmacun was really well done. The KĂźnefe wasnât as sugary as the original Turkish ones which I personally liked more. The staff was friendly and helpful. Would recommend it.
The location wasnât the best though.

Excellent Turkish cuisine. The kofta plate, pides (cheese boat-shaped pies) are a must. The baklava is always fresh, the rice pudding delicious and the service first class!

Good Turkish restaurant. Good selection of classic dishes, all freshly prepared. Apart from kebabs, they also have a stuffed pastry selection (pide) that is good. One type of kebab you might not find commonly elsewhere is there Beyti kebab. Lamb wrapped with flat bread. Yummy. Can get crowded and service slows during those times.

The Gozleme was absolutely delicious (spinach and feta). The woman who served us gave us all the tips for travel to Turkey, and treated us to Turkish tea at the end of our meal.
