Great service, delicious food and they are usually pretty consistent. Unfortunately, the meats were overdone on my last visit and quite dry.
Solid food overall, but a pretty bad location in Tenderloin. San Francisco has changed quite a bit, which is sad!
This is a good Turkish restaurant. The food si good, the ayran is good and the staff is nice.
I recommend this restaurant if you want to eat good Turkish food.
If you're looking for an incredible Turkish restaurant with delicious, halal food, look no further than A La Turca! From the moment you walk in, you'll be transported to a world of rich flavors and delightful aromas.
One of the standout dishes at A La Turca has to be their lahmacun. This traditional Turkish dish is a flatbread topped with spiced ground meat and vegetables, and it is absolutely mouth-watering. The flavors are perfectly balanced, and the bread is crispy and satisfying.
But the lahmacun is just the beginning at A La Turca. The menu is full of other delicious dishes, from succulent kebabs to flavorful dips and spreads. Everything is made with fresh, high-quality ingredients, and you can really taste the care that goes into each dish.
One thing that really stands out about A La Turca is the friendly and welcoming staff. They are always happy to help you navigate the menu and find the perfect dish for your taste. The atmosphere of the restaurant is cozy and inviting, with a warm and welcoming vibe that will make you feel right at home.
In short, if you're looking for an amazing Turkish restaurant in San Francisco, look no further than A La Turca. With their incredible lahmacun, delicious menu, and welcoming staff, this is a restaurant that should be on every food lover's list. Don't miss out on this hidden gem!
Lahmacun is highly recommended😊✌️
Iskander kebap is good. New to Turkish cuisine, I appreciate the combination of meat, tomatoes and cubed bread which make for a balanced meal with great flavors.
Service is good; attentive and personalized.
Ambiance is good and I feel safe on this northern edge of Tenderloin. I'll be back!!
This is very good place turkish foods are very delicious but sometimes there is no turkish tea and there is a big guy his name is burak he is so kindly thanks man 👍
Some of the best Iskender kebap in the city. Authentic Turkish food. Friendly staff.
Great customer service and staff are very attentive and making sure you enjoy your meal. The la Manchu is great and bread is nice and crispy. The chicken plate is also very good and chicken is well cooked.
Love this place I’ve been here many times nd still discovering new dishes , great food healthy , and well presented , and of corse I can’t leave without a dessert tonight did the kenafa with a Turkish tea yaaam , nice atmosphere and very friendly staff will go back again to keep trying more goodies
A great tucked away spot you never knew about. That's house I'm going to remember this place.
Menu had soo many yummy items, I ended up going with the basic to get a taste for the place.
The Döner was great after a long walk; the rice was lightly flavored, bread was delicious & baked in house, house made soup sauce to accompany it all, but the salad could use some love. Veggies in the salad tasted like those precut bags from Safeway (kinda soggy & no crunch) would be better with some fresh cut.
4/5 as everything else was great, definitely going back to explore that menu.
We had a terrific dinner here last night! We had the hummus, the lahmacun and the beyti kebab, kunefe - all delicious. Their bread, which they make every morning, is the lightest I’ve ever had. We also enjoyed the white wine from Turkey we had. The restaurant is obviously popular with locals, but we were made to feel right at home by Mine. We’ll definitely be back next time we’re in San Francisco.
