Teeny tiny place with a few seats inside & a few sidewalk tables.
It's really best for to-go.
The food is pretty simple and straightforward.
Everything is really good, it's hard to go wrong here.
The koja "burger" is great with short ribs in between rice buns.
Fast and friendly service.
They're located in the former Vietnamese cafe spot on 6th.

This Korean-Japanese (or KoJa) restaurant makes great fries, uncommon burgers, and refreshing drinks. There is a restroom, plenty of seating inside, and patio seating at the entrance if you like being kind of outside. This place can accommodate small and large groups because there are different sizes of tables. Also alcohol beverages, including from a tap, are available here. There are also TVs with sports playing.
I ordered a Mint Mango Lemonade, a Short Rib KoJa, a Beef Taco, and the Kamikaze Fries for pickup through Doordash. The total after tax was about $30. The "KoJa," a rice bun burger, was delicious, but the rice was kind of hard outside from being fried. The short rib was tender, juicy, and really good. The taco was also really good and came with a little lemon wedge. The fries were my favorite out of everything; they were packed with flavor, still crispy under the toppings, and just spicy enough for me. The lemonade was more sour than I expected and I didn't really like it, but was definitely an interesting drink.
Overall, I think the food here is great. I feel like $30 is high for what I got, but if you have a discount code through a delivery app, this would be a great choice.
On a different visit, I ordered the Crispy Chicken Bowl and the fried chicken was burnt.

Have you ever had Umami Fries (see item on right of photo) at Koja Kitchen? Then, you haven't had one of the great delights of Clement Street. I've eaten at Koja Kitchen on at least four occasions. Their "outdoor" seating is actually covered and has excellent heat. No problem with loud music or patrons. This is a terrific neighborhood restaurant with fine food. Give it a try.

Perfect food truck court for outdoor fun with the family and pets. There's plenty of room to spread out and be safe. There's sooo many options to pick from to eat, bound to have something for someone regardless of their cravings.
We ordered a little bit of everything, the IG reel/TT is viewable on @PhidingTheFam. But we ordered Umami Fries & 2 Tacos from Koja and it was delicious! Fries are def a get!!

10.29.2022: got the Original Koja and Buffalo Wings. I loved it, the kalbi was delicious and the wings were big and numerous and fried crispy but juicy on the inside.

Cool concept with rice buns! They were crispy and yummy. Short rib was very tender and nice, brown rice in the bowl was delicious. I’m not big rice fan but finished this one.
Kamikaze fries - crispy and loaded!

Was looking for a place to get some teriyaki and found this. The food was really good and the price was acceptable. Not the cheapest around but still worth it for what you get. It is somewhere that I would consider going to again as we really enjoyed the food.

The staff is super nice and the location is excellent. It’s very clean and fun it would be good for really big groups. I ordered the wings and they were good. But not great. I’ve definitely had better wings in San Francisco

So good! Great food, great prices, and great staff. First time trying this place while I was in the San Francisco area. Different than what I'm used to but it was all delicious. I ate the original Koja, some tacos, and the Kamikaze fries - all delicious (it was a lot of food). I'm definitely coming back the next time I'm in the area.

My family really likes to get groceries here, so I come near Clement often. I was often off put by the small portions and high prices at koja kitchen. My family really wanted to try it, so we went. We ordered umani fries, one of each tacos, chicken plate, and beef plate.
The tacos were okay. I wasn't a fan of the chicken or pork ones. The beef was probably the best of the three. The plates were actually really filling. It came with a mini salad on the side, but the plates definitely filled us. The umami fries were the star though. The waffle cut fries tasted amazing with the sauce and pork. There was a lot of space, with patio seating. There's lots of TV's too, so I think it'd be a nice place to have a drink and eat the fries.
While I wouldn't get the tacos again, I would definitely be down to get their fries again. I was super skeptical of their food before, but am now a fan.
