I recently had the pleasure of dining at Ziggy's Burgers, and I must say, I was thoroughly impressed! The burgers were juicy and flavorful, and the buns were fresh and perfectly toasted. The fries were crispy and delicious, and the milkshakes were creamy and decadent. What's more, Ziggy's Burgers is also halal-certified.
The staff was friendly and attentive, and the overall ambiance was inviting and cozy. I highly recommend Ziggy's Burgers to anyone looking for a delicious burger joint that truly delivers on taste, quality, and halal standards. Whether you're a burger aficionado or just looking for a great meal, Ziggy's Burgers is the place to go. Don't hesitate to stop by and indulge in some of the best halal burgers around!
Wonderful food and generous servings. Wife really wanted vegetables and the chicken bowl was a large portion of chicken strips on a pile (the mother load) of various steamed vegetables and tasty rice. Advertised as halal and food is very high quality. Our dishes were $16 each which is good value in San Fransisco.
I was on my way over to 21 Baker Street to see a chap I've never met, he wore a classic tweed Deerstalker's hat, smoked a pipe and carried a riding staff. I believe him to be none other than Sir Blinkus Battlestruck, the well known food critic, here on special assignment from New York City.
I must see this chap and inquire about where to obtain the best cheeseburger in SF. ...And I did just that.
He was with another fellow, a portly gentleman that carried himself quite well, he was perhaps a Parliamentarian or Physician, and it was he that concurred with Battlestruck's elementary conclusion that Ziggy's Burgers was indeed one of the best cheeseburgers in SF.
The food here was very satisfying after just exploring around the piers near the farmers market. The food was tasty and the portions were well worth the price. I had the chicken tenders, which were over a bed of fries and coleslaw served with two sauces, the tenders were nice and crispy and tasted good.
The fish and chips were really good. Cod was crunchy and not very oily, which I like. The fries are higher quality that the ones you find in other fast food restaurants. The burger was above average but still slippery.
Good halal burger place. Burger are all $11 up. Bit expensive for just a burger. Cheese is extra. $1.50. Maybe the price is justified being its San Francisco. They also own the Oasis grill next door. If you are not in mood of burgers, then you can go order from there and bring the food here and eat.
Great place to go grab some food.
We ordered the South of the border burger and Cheese steak sandwich plus garlic cheese fries
The burger and steak sandwich was excellent.
The fries were OK.
Would have given it a five but there was alot of insects at the ketchup, mayo and mustard dipenser. Cleanliness there was an issue
Overall excellent food and very filling
Really wanted to try their Chimichurru Cheesesteak but it was discontinued. Had the Ziggy's Cheesesteak and the wife had the Ziggy's Burger with chicken tender instead of meat. We both enjoyed the food as it had great flavors and generous portion size. The staff is also very kind. The restaurant is clean and a very good place to bring family and friends. Will visit again if I come back to San Francisco.
TLDR; Well prepared and good tasting food, friendly service, clean tables and priced reasonably for for downtown.
After spending a few hours at the Exploratorium we needed fuel. Being downtown the cost of the food is expensive but not overly so and may actually be pretty fair considering the portions. We had the chicken strips, crusted chicken sandwich and fish and chips....oh, and a vanilla milkshake. All were clearly hand made and fresh. Everything was delicious!
