Ingredients were super fresh. Food was delicious and they had large selection of wine and beer. I went there during the happy hour so I had beer with happy hour price $5. The only thing I didnt like was portion was way too small. It seems more suitable if you are looking for small plates with drinks.

Happy hour from 4-6pm was great for oysters at $1 a piece. After happy hour the price goes up to $4. Decent selection of drinks but the dinner menu is rather limited. Food generally above average but nothing extraordinary.

Came with a party of two around 7ish, the restaurant was super busy, while we didn't make any reservation, the host somehow managed to get us a table (super nice of him). We had three each of the west coast oyster, grill clam, grill oyster, crispy calamari, England clam chower for start. Have to say while the raw oysters were great, I was more pleasantly surprised by the grill oyster and grill clam, they were done just right (rather than the usual over cooked grill seafood). We also ordered a grilled local sole. Let me say OMG, by far the best grilled fish I have had in the US. Wasn't over cooked, wasn't too salty, extremely fresh. Our waitress was super nice and helpful as well (not too much, just the right amount of checking in). For a seafood lover, I would give 5.5 star if I could.

Came here for lunch and to make early reservation. The sea lion plater seems a lot for lunch with 12 oysters, clams , jumbo shrimp, crab meat and salad! The chowder is good to order for sharing instead ! The fried octopus is a little over cooked and it is chewy! Grilled sole fish with seasonal vegetable is great but you must try their steamed mussels! The broth is very Asian like with spice! Service could be more attentive and overall an enjoyable lunch!

Ordered the raw seafood small platter with oysters, cevice, crab remoulade, clams and stemmed shrimps, very very tasty! For main entree I got that halibut with the potato crust, delicious, very flaky, could have probably cooked few more minutes, but nonetheless very tasty and flaky! Finished off with a nice pannacotta with strawberries, very nice. Very good service, would come back again

We went there with my two kids (two and four years old) and aimed to some fresh dollar oysters. Staffs were nice. The 4-year-old was sleepy and they put two chairs together as a bed for him. We asked for 24 oysters at the first round. Two glass of Cava were excellent. The sautee shrimp was nice but a little bit over priced. We took no more than 10 min to finish all the oysters and wine. While waiting for my kid to wake up, we ordered another round of 24 oysters and this time we decided to take it nice and slow. How can you taste such fresh and juicy oyster without wine? So we ordered two glass of pinot Gris. That was awesome and I will definitely visit there again!

This is one of oyster spot for me and my friend! When you go this place in Happy hour, you will get oysters $1 ea 🦪 love it! Service is also great, staff kept coming and ask to check that we’re doing okay. Location is also convenient for me since it’s right next to Salesforce transit center ! I already miss this place

Always have a wonderful experience at Anchor & Hope. Love their Happy Hour. Great place to bring my friends to experience the city. Chill and have a drink there. .Such a beautiful contrast of the architecture of the city and the nostalgic feeling of the place.

Divine lobster rolls with great beer and awesome appetizers (go for the bacon wrapped oysters). Service is good, even when it's crowded. Oh! It's on the expensive side (you can spend 100 USD easily).

Fish & chips was great. Nice and flaky, not a thick layer of batter like so many places. Good attentive service. Not a vast beer selection but a good, tasteful one with some nice surprises. Will return.
