I got a beautiful birthday cake here and they were able to write a message on the cake quickly and perfectly last minute. It was also delicious!

Best everything. From the cookies to the pastries to the thin crust on them special cakes. Place has been around since I can remember many weekends spent here, Gian Franco would make some of the best Pasta as well around lunch time as a kid I would be sent to get the fresh bread around the corner to eat with the pasta. Good times with many memories. You will never find another flavor like this place.

Tiramisu and Sacripantina! These alone make Stella Pastry & Cafe 5 stars! Parking is a challenge. The other pastries we ordered were just ok. But they arguably have the best Tiramisu ever in SF!

Went there twice during my stay in SF. Delicious cakes, especially chocolate raspberry and fedora. Big hugs pieces for the price. Good coffee as well. Will come again when will be in the city

Simple, traditional Italian bakery with a wide variety of beautiful cookies, cakes, and pastries. We came here for the tiramisu and it did not disappoint. It was one of the better tiramisus I’ve had in my life, very light and good espresso flavor. Lots of cocoa powder on top. All of my expectations were met. They also had a great variety of cookies and other cakes that I wish I had tried. The chocolate chip cookies looked delicious and incredibly thin. If you’re looking for a classic and high quality Italian select of sweet treats, this is the place.

Had the house specialty called sacripantina and fruit tart. Skip the fruit tart and focus on the sacripantina. Delicate white cake separated with light mouse like cream, excellent!! Great Americanos to wash it down. The price point was amazing, less than $20.

Stopped by for a dessert and espresso.
The tiramisu was delicious 😋. We came by at about 8pm and the dessert tasted like it was made that day!
Would definitely come back again and try more of their cakes!

Stopped in for a quick sip of coffee and cookies. Great little atmosphere and very friendly lady working the front. Very patient as I took time to choose what cookies to devour.

My favorites were the chocolate fedora and the sacripantina (maybe their specialty? A creamy, custardy white cake). Tiramisu was balanced with bitterness from the espresso and the chocolate raspberry was my family’s favorite with its pleasant tartness. All were moist, luxurious cakes that aren’t cloying or rich.
