It was the best Happy Birthday dinner I have had in years! Our waiter, Scotty, was the best! There were 15 of us, so we pretty much tried everything on the menu. We ordered off of the Sunset Menu as the items were $6-10.00 less than the dinner menu.Same exact items. We still spent 600.00.(included tip)I will say there were two meatloaves ordered and both of them were very dry.Not the norm for this Restaurant.Scotty kept control of our our unruly group with a smile. Thank you for everything and a wonderful evening! Rachel Freitas and Family
Already am obsessed with going back!!! This joint did not disappoint! The Jager Schnitzel was one of the best meals I've consumed thus far in 2018. Shoot, even the regulae coffee was marvelous lol! The side dishes (wide egg noodles and seasonal vegetables) were off the chain!! The beer....dayummm!! I highly suggest the Bitburger Pils....whoo weee!! Overall, the decor inside was cozy as f*ck as well! The fireplace added a soothing element and the customer service was outstanding! Last but not least, get a large pretzel with beer cheese sauce to go for an after-dinner munchie snack....you will not regret it.
Really good German food place. Bunch of dishes that tasted quite authentic. And the portions are huge. Plus each of our selected dishes came with a free starter (choice of soup or a cucumber salad). Good selection of beers and wines as well.
Everything I had was very good. They have a wide variety of German dishes and prices.
I had a pretzel, a beer, cup of lentil soup, potato salad and a bratwurst with $5 tip was less than what their duck dinner cost of $33. Which I plan on trying the next time I go there. 😎
Excellent customer service! I came here after work to decompress a little and this was just what I needed. I recommend going to the beer garden section, it’s so cute. Being here during golden hour was the cherry on top.
I ordered the currywurst, a small pretzel and a beer. Definitely filled me up and they were all delicious!
I will definitely be coming back!
Quaint atmosphere, excellent service and well prepared food. The beef goulash was tender with a tomato and onion based sauce. The sauerbraten was fork tender with a hint of ginger. Highly recommend the house made apple strudel. It's light and flaky and not overly sweet. The menu is definitely meat-heavy but you can order additional side dishes to help balance out the meal. There is also a cozy bar and patio dining.
I recommend this place.
Yes it might not be as good as having a meal in Germany but this place sure makes you feel like you are there. It has the style, the beer 🍻, the schnitzel, strudel, mustard and of course the pretzels.. all that makes this place worth to visit!
We payed around $90 for
-2 beers
-Pork shank came with cucumber salad and German pancake
-Schnitzel came with green salad and German potato
- small pretzel with beer cheese and mustard.
Place 5/5
Service 5/5
Price 4/5
Haven't been since the late 90's. Went after seeing the place on Rest Imp. Everything fantastic.... if you haven't been in a while or never been, highly recommend you check them out!
The beer was good! Cold and fresh! Reminded us of our time living in Stuttgart. Loved it! Highly recommend.
Great German style food and drinks in a quaint setting not far off the freeway. The food was delicious and the staff were friendly. Whether it's pretzels, schnitzel or peppered New York steak in brandy sauce paired with a great wine or European beer, everything was fantastic.
