Amazing sandwiches, if you are in the area definitely stop by. There food has all the elements I look for spicy, cheesy, saucy; there is something for everyone on the menu.

Great food, great prices, great staff. They have a really cool atmosphere and are also pretty family friendly (they don't mind strollers and they had a high chair available.) Indoor & outdoor seating, and a unisex bathroom in the back. Only negative is that parking is a bit difficult.

I get very excited when ever I hear about this place, I went here during my first visit to California. We went here with my brother who just graduated the Marines that morning, everyone was so kind and helpful! I ordered just a regular turkey sandwich and my brother did the challenge, but the sandwiches we're very good and the fries we're pretty good too! But if anyone lives in San Diego or is visiting I'd totally recommend this place!

Boyfriend and I just ordered two pastrami western burgers and when finished I told him that that may have been the best burger I've ever eaten. We are both full and happy. You guys make the best sandwiches/burgers. Thanks guys!

Good place for a quick bite, but I imagine it can get pretty packed. Great comfort style food choices, which are sandwich dominated. Had the Philly cheese steak and definitely was not disappointed, not was my friend with his Fat Sal sandwich. Their "fat" sandwiches come in large portions, so you'd better have a big appetite. They do offer more normal sized sandwiches as well, so there's definitely something for everyone.

Fat Sal's is just a fantastic sandwich shop. I was ecstatic to learn that there was a Fat Sal's closer to me after first eating at one on a trip to UCSD (the one there is great too). Everything I've tried so far has been great. They're also open passed midnight, so late-night munch sessions at Fat Sal's, are more than a valid option.

Great sandwiches and quality shakes! One of the cleanest, most modern places in Pacific Beach! Nice TVs and very fun music playing in the background! I highly recommend you eat there!

Had a meatless sandwich and it was delicious (granted I had already downed a few shots next door). Wasn't even aware it was from the show Entourage either. But the food is solid and I would definitely go back. Can't vouch for other locations though.

The sandwiches were amazing! Seriously, they're not just any sandwich. Check out the menu, and be blown away. The flavors, oh the FLAVORS! We just couldn't believe how tasty the food was.
The place was clean. Plenty of TVs around. The staff was friendly and helpful, explaining the menu and the sandwiches. We'll be going back, for sure.
