Always make a pit stop when in the area. Today getting a special dessert for a birthday. I had to get a warm meat pie for me.

Came here for Biltong. The Biltong texture is a bit softer than Biltong from Stryve. It also has much less seasoning, so it means you can add your own. I enjoyed using truffle salt on mine. I also sampled the meat pie and meat croissant, which were unique and enjoyable. Overall, I do suggest Perky's.

Amazing authentic South African food. Fish and chips are the best I've enjoyed anywhere. The takeaway meat pies and sausage rolls remind me of Australian meals when I was growing up.

What a great little spot to get a variety of South African foods. Both handmade pastries and sausages, as well as canned and packaged items. One of the owners was there and she was so nice and friendly!

I used to frequently visit Perky's every week from Los Angeles for work. Their biltong and droewors are the best! Unfortunately, I don't commute there for work anymore. I really, really miss that biltong. If you're ever in the area, do yourself a favor and drop in for their food, snacks, and amazing service. Graham, I hope you and your family are well, my friend. 🇿🇦Tasty pies and milk tart. The pastry of the pies was fresh and chewy, the meat inside the steak and mushroom pie was tender. The milk tart was also delicious and just like the milk tart I’ve had over the years. The owner Graham is also friendly and we had a brief chat over his move to the US and how South Africans can be found in every corner of the world
