The atmosphere and service was really good. The burger was a little bit too salty for me. I felt like the quality of the burger and price is a little bit more on the higher end than I would usually pay for a burger. Everything else is really good.
Excellent food, and the prices are really reasonable for what you get! I was a bit worried based on the BBQ prices the first time I went, but it's an *insane* amount of food: you definitely want to share any of the BBQ plates across 2 people (and even then, it's plenty of food). This time, we tried the sandwiches: I got the Demon burger, but I swapped the beef patty with chicken; it was delicious and the perfect amount of heat if you're a hothead! The staff are super friendly as well, and the parking lot is massive, so super convenient to go to. All around super pleasant place!
There are so many burger choices! Very creative options and all delicious. I had the hellcat and thought I was only going to eat half, but puff, it was gone. Burger plates come with fries priced from $15-20. The meat in the burgers is tasty. The ingredients in the burger don't overpower the flavor, so you can still taste the meat. Indoor/outdoor seating available. Beer/wine available. Family friendly. Right off the freeway. Ribs, brisket, and plenty of other food to choose from. I'm definitely coming back to try some more food. Can't wait for the brisket mac n cheese. stop and try these burgers!
Finally tried STP and am impressed. One of the best burgers in SD. Definitely best in the area. Patties weren’t overcooked. The onions were sliced VERY thin. The tots and fries were perfect. If I’m nitpicking, the wings could have been fried a bit longer but the habanero mango sauce was legit and spicy. The server was great. She checked on us often but not too much. We will be back to try the BBQ.
I discovered this car inspired grill restaurant by chance and I’m so glad I stop by for dinner.. I had the special burger of the day, it was advert at the entry and decided to go with it.. it was just fantastic.. than I checked the menu and I’m really looking forward to go back to try other specialities, all recipes names are inspired to cars and it makes it unique. The personnel was friendly and got a welcoming service. I’ll be definitely back. Thank you!
Love the burgers - nice crispy edges but juicy inside.
The butter cake was the bomb - it's like eating pancakes with loads of melted butter and bourbon sauce.
The bread pudding on the other hand was meh... Tiny specs of apple and the bread was partially soaked with sauce. I wouldn't get this.
The mac and cheese with brisket was good. $18 seemed a lot of a small dish.
Skip the crab and artichoke dip - didn't have enough crab or artichoke. And the garlic naan bread is but pita chips.
Friends recommended STP as a really good sandwich place with a dog friendly outdoor patio. I was so pleased to find it is so much more! Dogsitting a giant puppy, I met a group of friends for lunch, and it turns out puppy needs to learn a little more calm for public outings, but our server was ever so patient and armed with treats. All the food was amazing, and the puppy patty was of course a big hit. Thanks you, and we’ll be back with a little less crazy next time!
Keep seeing this place on Facebook. It was so good. Finally had a great burger in CA. The bowl of chili had great flavor and served Fritos!!
Only down side, no sweet tea. Lol
We passed by the restaurant several times. Always busy but we didn't have to wait too long for our order. We had the barn salad, and we just had to request for parmesan instead of gorgonzola. It comes with portobello mushroom, super yummy my toddler ate them. The tri-tip is tender and needs more seasoning. But the rice was pretty salty, beans are sweet, and the coleslaw's acidity helps cleanse your palate. A touch of spice from the jalapeno cornbread. So, all in all, once you eat everything together, it makes sense.
Had the bar find salad topped with perfectly seasoned portobello mushroom. Big open restaurant. Super clean space. Cool car decor. Excellent customer service..
