Denny's

on our way back from the zoo we stopped for dinner. Struggled between the salmon, fried chicken steak and the trash can Omlette. Decided on the chicken fried steak this time. Awesome choice! It was delicious! Fresh and hot. Cooked perfectly, mashed potatoes were rich and creamy, the were skin on red my favorite, I also picked corn. I ordered the 55+ menu, it was alot, more than enough, I could of never ate the reg. portion. I would of given it a 5+ but the service wasn't that great, orders had to be taken back, a few things forgotten. Didn't come back to offer refills. Upon leaving, checks had to be fixed. Only down part of the visit. Dennys never seems to disappoint! Good food quality. Hostess was polite. I'd definately recommend Dennys at this location.

When I walked in today, it was pretty busy, but I was greeted quickly and with a very nice and friendly member of the staff. I ordered a double cheese burger for my husband and a Dr. Praeger's veggie burger on a gluten-free bun. She wasn't sure they had a gluten-free bun, so she walked to the kitchen and then confirmed they had some available, which I thought was great customer service. So after only about 10 minutes, my order was ready and delivered with a smile. All of the employees I came in contact with today seemed to be happy, were smiling at each other, and at me. EVERYONE was nice! This was such a welcomed change because I don't have this experience when it comes to customer service and overall atmosphere much. I definitely recommend this Denny's, and we really enjoyed our burgers.

I had the pleasure of eating at this Denny's two times during my vacation in San Diego, and it was hands down the best Denny's experience I've ever had! The breakfast was absolutely delicious and served promptly. The portions were generous. What made this visit exceptional was the outstanding service provided by two staff members, Rafael and Maricela. Thank you! I will definitely be returning whenever I'm in the area.

This was the day after the tropical storm, and I got stranded at a friend's house because I didn’t feel comfortable driving. So in the morning, when safer to go, I stopped by Dennys. The food is excellent, especially for the price. The reason for the review is because the server was great. KUDOS to VERONICA for being so wonderful and attentive. I was so exhausted that having a friendly face made it all the better. Thank you!
