Great Mexican food, friendly staff and a decent Mexican beer selection. One of only a few authentic Mexican restaurants in San Diego.
Tacos weren't a good value for money. The food tasted good so I would recommend the burritos instead. The free salsa bar and water is good too.
The guy at the front is really nice and friendly. Breakfast burritos were delicious!!! I only ate hañf of their giant burrito.
I ordered the California burrito, it's kind of my gold standard. I often think "If they have a killer California burrito, the rest of their menu is probably delicious too".
They put curly fries in their California burrito, and it is god's greatest concoction! They don't hold back on the ingredients, their burritos are well put together and of good size for the price to pay. Of course parking is an issue. Monday's in the evening it quiets down. Definitely give it a go, you won't regret it.
Amorcito Corazon is the best mexican place in San Diego! Pollo Asado plates are my favorite. The chicken here is of higher quality than most places. You can feel it was marinated (probably with lemon) and properly cooked, and it has the right consistency. The guacamole is great, and the plates are served with a slice or orange. Plates come with a slice of orange, which makes everything better. I've also had their salmon plates which are great as well! And they started Taco Tuesday deals a few weeks ago, which I believe is 3 tacos for $5. If you're in North Park, this is the place to go.
We tried this new Mexican joint yesterday and were pretty impressed. I had the pollo and carne tacos and really enjoyed them. I'd say better than Tacos Perla around the corner. Unlike TP the tortillas here were pretty basic corn and nothing special. I like the cook on the meats a lot more.
We got the guacamole to go with our free chips. Tie in a couple of beers and we walked out for about $35. Slightly pricey and I'll probably still go to a hole in the wall place when I'm by myself, but for a group outing, I really thought Amorcito was great.
This tiny spot in North Park serves up excellent mexican fare at great prices. While you wait you can help yourself to free chips/salsa bar and cold Ice Water. The interior is well-designed and super cute with all the expected designs of a mexican themed establishment. My favorite item is either salad they offer with the grilled chicken. There is something so simple and delicious about this, I could eat it everyday. The chicken is grilled at the time of order, and is always perfect. The owners/staff are always friendly, hopefully they bring back the lunch-hours as my co-workers and I always want to stop by during lunch. <3
Such a great place with amazing food. Vegan tacos Huitlacoche (the Mexican corn truffle) and Nopales (the prickly pear cactus ) is my new favorites. Salsa bar is a great touch. Yummy authentic food and great vibes! Lucky to live so close by. Viva Mexico!
The owners are super! And the burritos and tacos are fantastic. It's easy to eat vegan here if you want. I'm looking forward to eating here again soon.
Very good food. Good flavors and service. Highly recommended. Enchiladas de moles taste homemade. All the tacos had an authentic mexican taste.
