Palominos Mexican & Sea Food

In a world of strip malls full of Asian food options, Palaminos might be your only Mexican food option for at least a block in any direction. I had the Del Mar burrito. Good size with fried fish, shrimp, and rice all making a delicious bite. My wife got a fish taco. The portion of the fried fish was good. Not overly crispy which is good. Topped with lettuce and tarter sauce and not cabbage and white sauce. Maybe that is the Cali way and not the AZ way. The side of rice was good too. Anyway, I recommend you give Palaminos a visit if you find your self down the street at the Daiso store and suddenly want Mexican food for lunch.

Could of gotten *****,but don't accept EBT(food stamps). Couldn't afford CA$H at that time. Lots of different produce & meats/protein. Well spaced out. Convenient to after dinning shopping, very fresh stuff as well as prepacked items. More than just food, and many prepared items. Great personnel, but busy with inventory work. Really wish could use EBT/Cal Fresh! Lots of unique stuff!

Large portions - great bang for your buck! The quesadilla tasted good. The guy working at the counter was very friendly and helpful. Only comment was the beans and guac were a little cold, but it’s somewhat understandable since I went mid afternoon and the food was probably leftover from lunch hours.

This place is legit. Tiny spot, tucked away, a real hidden gem. The food is made super fresh with excellent technique, and good portions. they know what they're doing. The flavor is all there, great salsas, they will happily accommodate for vegans and vegetarians, and best of all, excellent, kind and friendly service.
