Nico's Taco Shop

Love Nico’s food, their breakfast burritos are absolutely amazing! I work couple blocks away and we order for take out pretty often, and the food is always hot, well packed and tasty. Today I stopped after work and ordered myself, it was bit of wait since I didn’t order ahead of time but was so worth it. By the time I got all the way to El Cajon, burrito was still hot! Also ordered rolled tacos, which were tasty too. The place itself was super clean and the service was nice and the guy taking the order (sorry don’t remember the name) was very polite and professional. There was a parking lot (for customers only) which made it more convenient and easy. Definitely highly recommended!

Best beef tacos in all of San Diego. I am a true foodie and have sampled many taco shops. Nicos takes the prize! The bacon breakfast burrito was more than generous. Crispy bacon lots of potatoes and the salsa is on another level. I dream about this green salsa. I'm in Chula Vista and will drive all the way out here for the best food. Beef taco was crispy with a hearty portion of shredded beef with so much flavor. No salt needed and that is rare to say these days. Customer service was profound. We were treated like family and greeted with smiles. Give them a try this is one place you will never waste your money. Can't wait to try other options on their menu.

We came here our 1st day in San Diego after getting in from the UK. The food was delicious and the salsas spicy but more so, the lady working there is an absolute sweetheart. I left my bag in the shop when we left with our children. My purse had all of our holiday money, passports and my wallet inside. We got 30 minutes away before we realised. The shear terror we felt at losing everything was awful, we called the store and the lady said she saw it and put it below the counter. We rushed back and everything was still in my bag. I cannot thank the lady enough, there isn’t too many people like that in the world these days. Outstanding service.

When you're in San Diego and you're in the mood for tacos, burritos, or rolled tacos... @nicos_morena is always a great answer!! 🌯 🌮 There's a reason they're known as the best burritos in SD! Awesome carnitas burrito and side of rice for me... asada burrito and rolled tacos for the hubby! Paired that up with a cold Coke & it hit the spot !! 🌯🤩🫶

Get the Carnitas burrito or the California burrito. Everything else I have tried is meh, but those are really good. I have been here a bunch so I can guarantee that the quality is consistent. Their carnitas burrito has carnitas, guac and pico, which is the recipe for a great burrito!! Tried the enchiladas, which I didn’t know but come with red sauce. I would not try them again. Their breakfast chorizo burrito are also bland. Food comes out fast and counter service is friendly. The place is nice and clean, not crowded usually. I’m rating it for the items that I like, otherwise, I’d have to rate them less.
