Flew out to San Diego to see the Padres and various other things for a weekend in July. A local person recommended this place - omg, this was awesome. Best burrito I've ever had. We went back a second time during our three day trip. What a great find - San Diego is lucky to have this place.
I've grown-up eating at Nico's; it's still one of the best and economical quick service Mexican spots in San Diego! From the rolled tacos, to the massive California Burritos and Carne Asada plates, it's all yum! Bonus: if you stop inside you might get to play a classic arcade game.

Nicos has the best shredded chicken tacos and shredded chicken tostados on the planet! Their shredded chicken is covered in delicious red sauce and is messy as hell! But it is also the best thing ever also!! Highly recommend trying be shredded chicken if you come here! I have been coming to this
