I love buying fresh made pasta from Assenti’s Pasta in Little Italy. So far, we have tried the Chipotle, Garlic Basil, & Spinach. I discovered this gem about 6 years ago, and have not found one like it. They have many different options available. In my opinion, the price per pound is good for the quality that is received. They have wine, cheese, and bread too. Pick up a brochure before you leave (very handy) to look at other options, cooking times, and recipe suggestions. The next time I shop at Assenti’s, I will be buying the chocolate and black w/squid ink pasta.

We came in today to buy some fresh pasta shortly before closing. We bought cheese ravioli, and some garlic linguine. Also grabbed some Alfredo sauce & hot sausage. Everything was amazing! A younger gentleman helped us; he was very polite and had great customer service. We are definitely coming back to try more things! They have premade lasagna and pasta dishes in their freezer too!

Assenti's quality is a notch or several notches above most of the other Italian markets in Little Italy. We previously shopped at several of the other popular markets in the area, and we tried Assenti's because our regular market was out of Mortadella. We found that the quality at Assenti's was outstanding and far better than our regular market. We have enjoyed getting to know them and can not say enough good things. They have made us feel like family every time we shop, and we continue to be surprised with how they make the simple things so great. Prices are similar if not a little cheaper than Ralph's for canned and jarred goods, too. 👌

They handroll their pasta and import all kinds of Italian products for making an authentic home-cooked Italian meal.
They also provide a take home guide with Cooking times for the various pastas you might make as well as recipes.

Awesome slice of Italian heaven in San Diego. For locals and those with a full kitchen, go right to Assenti’s and buy some fresh pasta and all the fixings for great Pomodoro. The proprietor was kind to share local recommended Italian restaurants.

Simply put Assenti's is the epitome of a great family tradition. They have a vast selection of imported Italian groceries, and some of the best fresh pasta anywhere. The best part of the experience is the people; Luigi and Roberto are very cool, carrying on the business started by their parents.
