The wait staff and sushi chef were very friendly and prompt. I have a gluten sensitivity and the chef made me a gluten free sauce from scratch for my rolls. Quite the treat, as sushi places usually dont have a soy sauce alternative on hand. Plus it was delicious! The fish was extremely fresh and the rolls were expertly made and presented. Overall, an excellent dining experience!

Awesome experience. The service and the food was far beyond what I expected. This would be my regular sushi place if I didn't live in another state. They truly care about their craft here, and I recommend any of their spicy rolls with the seaweed. They have a good range of sake, so there is something for everyone here. From someone that lives on the water, this is how sushi is supposed to be.

The service here is excellent. They make you feel like a frequent customer. The ramen was only decent. The salmon skin mini bowl was good. The agedashi tofu had great flavor. I would definitely return to try more things.

This place has QUALITY sushi. It is definitely underrated. When I came in it must have been a slow night but from the service to the actual food everything was above par :) I left here with a full and happy belly. Be warned parking anywhere near convoy is absolutely atrocious.

This is my second visit in 2 years. Sushi is good and service is friendly. They have good fries and the place is clean. The only reason I'm writing this review is so some Hollywood big wig see this and makes the young man behind the counter a star. Good looking nice young fellow with good manners and treats customers well. Just give him a break someone!

great atmosphere. seems like a hole in the wall with many regulars having a grand old time at the bar. sushi was INCREDIBLE. and hot sake was great as well. very few tables but still had some open spots at prime dinner time on a Thursday!

Amazing sushi spot! Very intimate setting. Super fresh fish with a wide variety of options. I love that you can order half rolls if you're craving more than one thing. Chef Wilmer is always a delight and the service is always superb!

This place is awesome! You have to try the fish, it's always delicious! I read some other review that noted "inspired" rolls. I don't really know what that is supposed to mean, but they make a roll that looks like a dick and balls so take that for what it's worth. My favorite is the cowboy roll. It's good, you should try it.

Awesome little gem for sushi in San Diego. The environment was something else. I felt at home as soon as we sat down. Watching Sam make the rolls right there was great and it was all really quality rolls. A few regulars came in and soon enough sake bombs were flowing all around and we really had a great time. Great sushi, awesome environment, and a must try if you love sushi and are in San Diego!
