Sushi Yaro - San Diego - Photo album

Awesome experience. The service and the food was far beyond what I expected. This would be my regular sushi place if I didn't live in another state. They truly care about their craft here, and I recommend any of their spicy rolls with the seaweed. They have a good range of sake, so there is some
The service here is excellent. They make you feel like a frequent customer. The ramen was only decent. The salmon skin mini bowl was good. The agedashi tofu had great flavor. I would definitely return to try more things.
This place has QUALITY sushi. It is definitely underrated. When I came in it must have been a slow night but from the service to the actual food everything was above par :) I left here with a full and happy belly. Be warned parking anywhere near convoy is absolutely atrocious.
Very friendly staff and good food. And now they have a Lunch menu 😀
This is my second visit in 2 years. Sushi is good and service is friendly. They have good fries and the place is clean. The only reason I'm writing this review is so some Hollywood big wig see this and makes the young man behind the counter a star. Good looking nice young fellow with good manners a
great atmosphere. seems like a hole in the wall with many regulars having a grand old time at the bar. sushi was INCREDIBLE. and hot sake was great as well. very few tables but still had some open spots at prime dinner time on a Thursday!
Amazing sushi spot! Very intimate setting. Super fresh fish with a wide variety of options. I love that you can order half rolls if you're craving more than one thing. Chef Wilmer is always a delight and the service is always superb!
Had the Combo "A"... Nice affordable selection. The Tempura ice cream brought a smile.
This place is awesome! You have to try the fish, it's always delicious! I read some other review that noted "inspired" rolls. I don't really know what that is supposed to mean, but they make a roll that looks like a dick and balls so take that for what it's worth. My favorite is the cowboy roll. It'
Awesome little gem for sushi in San Diego. The environment was something else. I felt at home as soon as we sat down. Watching Sam make the rolls right there was great and it was all really quality rolls. A few regulars came in and soon enough sake bombs were flowing all around and we really had a
How I wish this place were open for lunch more. This is probably our favorite sushi restaurant in all of SD (yes, everyone has one and it's always better than yours). The staff here is friendly and fun, and they have great deals on soju and sake. They also really enjoy making sushi and have surprise
This place has top tier sushi! The nigiri is made with some real skill and care. The fish is extremely fresh and of the best quality. The customer service here is absolutely wonderful and the staff is attentive to all of their customers. The ramen was also decent. I will definitely be coming back fo
Overall good food. Restaurant seemed a bit understaffed. Not loving the size categories though.
This place is great. Really authentic Japanese food. The staff is nice and even stayed open late when our Japanese group wanted to come late. I had the tempura and it was like being back in Japan. I lived in Japan for three years so I know a thing or two :)
Fantastic customer service! Very clean, very good food, best miso soup I’ve ever had. Sam (I believe the sushi maker) and Jacob (the server) did a fantastic job.
