Pretty tasty burritos, huge size. I tried the hashbrown burrito, and it was pretty good.
Edit: since then, I have been here 5+ times, I tried the carnitas burrito, Del Mar Burrito (my now favorite) and Caldo de rez (beef soup).
I’d say the quality of the food is consistent at a 4+ stars, and service is always good. The employees take your order fast and the food is always delivered pretty fast.
They have a salsa bar, which is always a great plus.
Their chips were phenomenal and they lasted fresh in my fridge for days! Had the horchata and that was pretty darn good too.
Overall the establishment seemed clean and the customer service was good. I would go back, though I’d try something new.
EDIT: Please keep in mind that there is a 4% credit card charge, and they don't tell you about this anywhere. It's not marked on the receipt either, so it feels almost like deception. Tuesdays tacos are just under $2 a piece. As a result there was a decently long line even at 9pm, around 10min wait max. The tacos are truly amazing, and you can immediately taste the authentic Mexican flavors. Never tasted a better taco before.
I ordered 30 rolled tacos. we really liked then alot. by the time we got home the rolled tacos were a bit soggy but they still tastes good.
Service is good, helpful staff, tastes of food good and portions are big enough to satisfy your hungry. It gets very busy (mostly to take out), staff work fast to attend demand.
Came here because I saw they had reasonably priced tacos and rolled tacos. Driving and parking is a mess in this shopping center, so beware of that.
There aren't a ton of tables inside, especially compared to the amount of people who wanted to eat here. But we ordered to-go so it wasn't a big deal.
We went on a Tuesday, so we were able to get the Taco Tuesday prices on "mini" tacos. I got carnitas, my husband got lengua. My kids got rolled tacos. The tacos were fantastic, stuffed with meat and toppings. The rolled tacos were also huge portions. And came with cheese, lettuce, tomato, guacamole.
Strangely the lengua tacos did not come with guacamole but the carnitas did. So perhaps check if other toppings are different.
Service was great, food tasted great. Bathroom was clean.
This is a pretty decent local taco shop. The taco tuesday deal is a good deal. I was very satisfied with the tacos. The burritos here are also good, especially their breakfast ones. That hash brown burrito is something special. My go to's here would be the hash brown burrito and the adobada tacos, or rolled beef tacos.
Breakfast burrito Mecca is how I’d describe El Patron. Massively large burritos filled with what you crave. For me, it was the Steak and Bacon breakfast burrito. Steak, bacon, eggs, cheese and sour cream—that’s all, but more than enough. I can’t recall having a better burrito for breakfast. The eggs were cooked to perfection—not dry, not runny. The steak and bacon? Delicious. I added the wonderfully hot habanero salsa with every bite. It was so, so good.
All told for around $10, you’ll enjoy one of the best breakfast burritos around. Enjoy.
Even though we have been going to the H-Mart complex for decades, we’ve never dined at this establishment until last night. We were in the mood for some good Mexican food, and we decided to pick up something from this place, and boy were we pleasantly surprised by the quality and taste of the food. This place has a homey-yet-welcoming atmosphere with one of the widest menus I have seen with all kinds of Mexican dishes. I look forward to coming back here to try different dishes. The only downside is that while they do sell bottled beer, they do not have draft beer options.
I was looking forward to actual patron with the meal but this was not available.
El Patron is an eatery where you can dine-in, dine outdoors, door dash, pick up or like eat in the car. This is a walk up eatery located in a large shopping plaza.
I indulged in the chicken enchiladas combo plate. The portion size was considered large and it was tasteful. The beans and rice were moist which I appreciated.
When I arrived someone was being served the steak sizzling fajitas on the hot skillet. It smelled smokingly delightful. Another guest had grilled chicken with veggies that also was appealing.
I noticed the appetizer menu with jalapeno poppers, buffalo wings, $1.49 Taco Tuesday and a robust breakfast menu. In fact, the entire menu was vast and will require several trips.
Service was fast. Two full
combos was less than 20 bucks, add the salsa is freshly made and lip smacking good. Since it's was my first time here, I will likely try out other items. The only disadvantage is there are no Yelp check-in perks. Nor google.

Compare what you could get at Taco Bell for $11 vs an amazing place like this ahhhh ❤️❤️❤️❤️
The tacos are like mini burritos
