Bravo's Mexican Bistro & Cantena

Absolutely AMAZING!!! Our first visit here as new locals (until now, we've been veterans of another taco shop) but this place delivered even after we made a large complicated order. Food vs. Price is on par. Time to prepare was amazing. The struggle from now on will choosing which tacos we want. I can recommend (in order from best to next best) the pork, mahi, battered fish, potato, shrimp, and carnitas tacos. The guacamole starter and the SALSA! #yum Oh and the queso tacos WERE UN-BE-LIEVABLE!!! #doubleyum Make them a regular menu item STAT!

We had some family visiting from out of town and we took them to Bravo’s to get some Mexican food and they were not disappointed. The restaurant serves up some big dishes that are big on flavor as well. The staff is friendly and service was quick too. I definitely recommend for anyone craving some Mexican food in the OB area.

Wife loves tacos so stopped in on a Wednesday to try their food. We were the only people in the restaurant on a lazy afternoon. Waitress, Vabiola, was fast but not intrusive. She offered menu clarification, was friendly and informative. Wife ordered two tacos, plus chicken enchilada soup on the side. I ordered mole wings which came with rice. I requested tortillas as well and was readily accommodated. My Wife said the soup was average but had plenty of chicken. Wife said she absolutely loved the tacos and side of beans she ordered. My mole was well made & delicious. We will be returning when we visit Ocean Beach again. Great place to eat, have a drink and people watch. You can park for free behind the restaurant.

If you're a margarita fanatic, this is the spot for you. They have a variety of tequila. Their food is also amazing. The fish tacos are one of my favorites. Other great part about it is the location, you have your food and Margs here and walk out and there's bars around. So you're pretty much set for the night.
