Bravos is my favorite bar in OB. Lula, the bar tender is efficient and makes the best margarita I have ever had. If I could only drink one margarita for the rest of my life, it would be without a doubt the Chili Cucumber.
The food is amazing. The Margaritas wow. Highly recommend this place to anyone and everyone. Liz behind the bar was bad ass and helped us out a lot. Knowledgeable and friendly. You rock guys
Wife loves tacos so stopped in on a Wednesday to try their food. We were the only people in the restaurant on a lazy afternoon. Waitress, Vabiola, was fast but not intrusive. She offered menu clarification, was friendly and informative. Wife ordered two tacos, plus chicken enchilada soup on the side. I ordered mole wings which came with rice. I requested tortillas as well and was readily accommodated. My Wife said the soup was average but had plenty of chicken. Wife said she absolutely loved the tacos and side of beans she ordered. My mole was well made & delicious. We will be returning when we visit Ocean Beach again. Great place to eat, have a drink and people watch. You can park for free behind the restaurant.
When I tell people, "The best fish tacos are in San Diego," what I mean to say is, "The best fish tacos are at Bravo's Mexican Bistro & Cantina." This place has ruined me on fish tacos. I can't even find one that is AS GOOD as Bravo's, forget about finding a better one. Sure they might not open on time, and yeah the service might not be as fast as you like but who cares?! I sure don't! If you do, maybe you should go across the street and grab a burger. I'd rather be in Bravo's, chillin' with a Corona, and eating THE BEST fish tacos in San Diego.
Not only was the food AMAZING the service was outstanding. 2 👍👍 to the cook... Best food we've had on this trip to O.B.
This place has the best margaritas in San Diego, best atmosphere in OB, they also have vegetarian options and the staff is very kind. Homemade chips and salsa! Margaritas with Tamarindo sticks and bachata music! 5 stars!

Such a perfect place to get off the street and enjoy amazing tacos and a special IPA. Very good food....Brisket tacos, grilled chicken tacos, beer battered fish tacos....wow. Great service too!
Great atomsphere, very open. Friendly staff and excellent chips and salsa! Bean dip and queso fundido were very good.
Love it. Some of the best daily specials in O.B.. Nice staff. Mellow vibe great place to get out the sun for a bit have cold one, and people watch!
If you're a margarita fanatic, this is the spot for you. They have a variety of tequila. Their food is also amazing. The fish tacos are one of my favorites. Other great part about it is the location, you have your food and Margs here and walk out and there's bars around. So you're pretty much set for the night.
We had some family visiting from out of town and we took them to Bravo’s to get some Mexican food and they were not disappointed. The restaurant serves up some big dishes that are big on flavor as well. The staff is friendly and service was quick too. I definitely recommend for anyone craving some Mexican food in the OB area.
