I just saw the news and i am heartbroken. Lucky’s is hands down my favorite breakfast place in San Diego. Painless and pleasant always. The food is always delicious and Lucky and his friend (i suck at names) are my favorite. I will come as much as i can before it closes. We love you Lucky! Amazing food dished out by a local legend! Lucky has great jokes and a better attitude. Take your time with this place, it’s just him running the show but occasionally with some help! Great portions for the price.

It's a very odd but chill vibe. Older gentleman running the show all on his own. The food is very basic. Small menu but super inexpensive. It's unique. Tiny Dive diner that brings you to the past.

If you're looking for a pleasant atmosphere with good food under $10, you've found the right place. There are only 4 breakfast combos, but you will get your meal hot, but don't be rushed for time because Lucky does it all himself. However, he actually does it quite well.

Lucky is awesome! One man show! It takes a while to get service, and you have to be patient. I will say I was getting a little impatient, but Lucky knows who came in when...somehow. I then wasn't feeling like I needed to rush, Lucky is so calm and makes you appreciate the vibe. I would say this place is not for everyone, but the food was excellent and cheap!!!
