This was the best açaí bowl I’ve had in all of San Diego. The fruit was so ripe and perfect!
I’m now a regular here after ONE açaí bowl. The fruit and ingredients are really really fresh and they pile on so much fruit on the bowls it’s such a treat! The açaí bowls have good granola, and I don’t even like granola..this might be the only granola I’ll ever be down to eat lol. Anywho go try this place out, you’ll thank yourself later ❤️
Best açaí bowl I’ve ever had EVER! I wasn’t an açaí girly and they made me turn into one. Now I’m a fully fiend for their açaí bowls. Their granola is top shelf, it tastes crispy like a rice crispy is exploding in your mouth, I dream about this granola every night. I count down the hours at night until the next morning when they open so I can run like the wind to Northside shack. If you’re on the fence just be prepared for a new açaí addiction. I don’t control the açaí it controls me.
Stopped for a lunch açaí bowl at this little hole in the wall. Parking was a bit hard to find, but a spot opened up in the lot.
Ordered a mini and got a whole pile of really fresh fruit and other crunchy toppings on my bowl. Will return. It was delicious.
It was my first time visiting this venue and couldn’t have been more satisfied. The staff was super friendly and very helpful pointing me in the right direction with my order. My juice blend was healthy and so tasty. I almost wanted to go back. Also the if you like fruit bowls this place is worth checking out. I will for sure be visiting again.
A famous and popular food blogger recommended this place and covered it in his SD vlog. Since then I have my eyes in this place. Finally I got the chance in my recent SD trip. I was working from home, so my husband went to pick a breakfast açai bowl for me. I ordered a medium size, and that was quite huge, with açai sorbet, many different fruits and coconut and granola, and nuts etc. the ensemble is perfect to start a day. It’s so refreshing and tasty. Do visit them if you want a real açai bowl.
I had heard much praise about Northside shack before I visited and it lived up to its reputation. The acai bowl is awesome! I can't wait to go back when I'm hungrier and eat a bigger serving! The fruit is very fresh and the sorbet was tasty. Adding some peanut butter made it even better. This is now on my list to visit every time I come to San Diego!
Calming vibes as soon as you enter the store. The owner and staff were super friendly and patient as we looked at the large smoothie menu. Acai bowl and smoothies we had were fresh and delicious. Highly recommend stopping here. Menu items are awesome combos and you can customize to your preference.
Really great little neighborhood smoothie spot for a quick breakfast or pick me up. The girl who helped us was so incredibly friendly and gave us a bunch of suggestions. The menu is great because there are tons of options, but it’s so hard to choose because everything looks delicious. The drinks are made fresh right in front of you. Nice portions also considering fresh smoothies and juice are always pretty pricey. Makes it a lot easier to pay. They don’t skimp. Loved everything about Northside Shack.
This shack is my fav place on earth. I live in MI so its tough ;) but this place is so fresh and the acai is amazing. Its made by god. its heavenly. tastes so good. you can grab one to go and walk down the street to the ocean or pier
