Great sandwiches and friendly people. The pastrami is awesome. Dog friendly seating area.
My husband and I shared the pastrami sandwich and it was amazing. Firstly, it was huge. We also got the turkey bacon and avocado but had to save it for later because we were so full. Don't judge a book by its cover because this place ain't fancy at all but the food is really good. Skip the franchise and go here!

Whether you’re a LOCAL or a TOURIST (like my family and I)..., THIS is truly a great spot to stop for a DELICIOUS, fresh 🥪 bite!!! And the VIEWS of Shelter Island are quite nice to see from their outside patio area. Definitely recommend it! My kids even loved it!!! It’s not JUST a sandwich, MARCOS the gentlemen that made ours 🤩 shows his passion for his craft and his sincere care through his customers service, makes it all even more worth it. Check them out!! And try their Deviled Eggs 🥚, you won’t regret it ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
ps. THEY SELL🍻
Little place- made to order sandwiches with lots on em!
Great food. We're staying at the Humphrey's and it's walking distance.
The lunch spot for the well seasoned. Try the chicken salad sandwich with everything. Cigar smoking old guys and dogs, cool spot.
Great lil deli to hop off the boat and grab some awesome sammys! We always get the jumbo sub w/everything. LOVE the classic crusty sub roll! Don't forget to snag some deviled eggs! Excellent!! You can get your boat gassed up while waiting, too.
My favorite sandwich shop! The hours can be a bit wishy washy sometimes they close on days they are supposed to be open. The service is somewhat cranky! but it won’t stop me from coming because the sandwiches are top quality you won’t find better anywhere in San Diego! The bread tastes homemade and the meats are piled high! All the sandwiches are delicious but my favorite is the turkey avocado. The deviled eggs are delicious but most of the time they are sold out!
Great sandwiches. Seriously. They do not make normal sandwiches. If you like normal food you will be confused by the awesome.
My bestie always hits this place when visiting from Colorado so we thought we would give it a try for our make shift picnic on the island. The couple that owns the place are so cute. He told me they had been there for 20 years making sandwiches. We ordered a turkey/cheese on white with everything on it and a pastrami/cheese on sour dough with the works. The sandwiches are very hearty, I could have easily split mine. They sell the "Dirty Potato Chips" brand there which I love.
I also would like to call out that they have clean restrooms which is a huge bonus along with an outdoor seating area on the dock over the water/harbor. Dog friendly!!!
