My husband and I found this place on our way to our car from lunch. The place is tiny but amazing. We had no idea what we wanted to get, so a sampler plate was made for us. It had a little bit of everything, including their Carrot Cake, Coconut Cake, and truffles. The Cakes have hilarious (but apt names, like Devil Inside, Evil One (Coconut Cake), OMG! And Perfect Storm OMG (PB and Choc). We ended up buying a piece of the Coconut Cake, Perfect Storm OMG! And truffles.
Everything was delicious, and the service was wonderful. The owner is a true confectionary artist!

Not only did I think about the caramel for over a year before I was able to return to purchase more, but they were even better than I remembered them being.
These are by far the best chocolate of any kind I’ve even had in my life.
The owner was nice enough to ask us our wedding colors so she could decorate the bags the chocolates came in with colored ribbon for our wedding gift bags and it made it very special for us. Every time we are in San Diego I will be back. See you soon I hope!
The cakes and truffles are all great and they don't skimp out on flavor or size. Jennifer is friendly and helped me out with my order. Can't go wrong asking her for some advice. She makes you feel welcome, like you've been coming to her shop forever.
The shop offers unique flavors as well as tried and true. Some of the flavors offered (at the time of this review) ginger, raspberry, espresso, milk chocolate, dark chocolate, Jameson, rum, champagne, and more.
We love everything Jennifer does!! But the Coconut Cake is our favorite. She is so nice. Makes the cakes with

Jennifer and her team are wonderful. My girlfriend and I stopped by a couple months ago when we were in the area since you never seen any local chocolatiers anymore. I am dairy free which limits me almost everywhere but Jennifer was so kind and offered me a beautiful blueberry lemon angel food cake and some Belgian dark chocolate. Both were very delicious. My girlfriend really enjoyed the chocolates she got and said the brownie was to die for. Highly recommend stopping in to talk with Jennifer. She is very passionate about providing the highest quality desserts and coffee drinks.
Love this place every time I go and I always try to bring my friends here who haven't been before. No one is sorry they've come haha! Yummy chocolate truffles and cakes, as well as assorted scones and cookies. All made fresh on the premises by the owner.
Jennifer does an amazing job! From her key lime tart, to the evil one (cake), to her chocolate strawberries, everything tastes delightful. My husband isn't a big sweets person, but he will eat anything that Jennifer makes. Please order a cake, or a tart from her! I personally love her coconut style cakes, and her key lime pie, and my husband loves her carrot cake! <3
Jennifer/owner is fantastic! She is still using some family recipes from the mid 1800's. Everything here is fantastic and handmade fresh every day. The coconut cake is the best I have ever had. The carrot cake and chocolate cheesecake are ridiculous. This is a locally owned gem that you cannot miss if you are in Point Loma.
Fantastic shop ran by a wonderful lady. As we were there two long time regulars came in and told us the story of this chocolate shop, the history, her relationship with the families of the regulars and the amazing community built around the love of deliciousness...
I will take her advice and put eating chocolate on my to do list everyday just so I can make sure I get something done...
And remember, be nice to the chocolate lady, otherwise it will lead to bad caramel
Lovely shop with wonderful customer service. I needed a fix after a very hectic week. The staff were patient helpful and empathic. The truffles and OMG cake we’re fantastic
Owner and her staff are amazing and so caring! OMG cake is the most rich and decadent cake I have ever had. Highly recommend trying any of their items at least twice or more. :)
