Come in on Tuesday night to try Fish Tacos and the place was packed. Lots of people hanging around waiting to pickup their online orders. Most of tables had been occupied. After being seated we had to wait about 25' for our food. The fish was crunchy and tasted really good. The salsa bar also offer many choices of sauce that is a plus. Next time we'll check in early to avoid the rush.

Came during busy hour so it took ~25min to get our food but we were notified of this before we ordered. Otherwise food was great and will definitely go back again.

Last time at Rubio‘s was eight years ago on our last trip to San Diego. And we had to have Rubio‘s.
We were there off hours and the restaurant was very quiet. The burrito was too big for me to finish. The choice of salsa is incredible. Really wish we had these in Texas.

Today I decided to try this Rubios again for Taco Tuesday. The service was quick even though they had a long line.
And the Fish Taco especiales were the absolute best I've had at any Rubio. The Fish portion was huge, they looked perfect and they tested delicious.
First visit at this location. Tip, the CA Bowl is 90% rice. Thought I'd try something other than normal Fish Tacos but I think that they should stick to what they are good at. As the Bowl just wasn't it.

I received a BOGO offer this month for my birthday. Tonight, we both ordered "The Coastal Trio" plates for take-out...consisting of The Original Fish Taco, Salsa Verde Shrimp Taco, and Wild-Caught Mahi-Mahi Taco. We also filled up a few salsa cups with an assortment of Rubio's famous sauces--Chipotle Sauce, Mild Sauce, and Verde Sauce, and some extra lime wedges and chopped onions. They were delish!!! All three tacos packaged in their unique biodegradable & compostable taco trays with individual compartments to keep each taco upright during transport. Thanks Rubio's!!!

Taco Tuesday is overwhelming in carmel mountain store & camino Del Mar store.
Better in Ranch Bernardo.
But the classic fish taco 🌮 is still delish. If you ask for white sauce & salsa on the side so it won’t get soggy.
The Wait is crazy long once you order. I’m very disappointed they only serve beer & soft drinks. Used to have mini wine white/red. I don’t like beer at all.

Good food, but still on the pricey side and the organization between the shift manager and the normal employees needs work. They forgot one of my orders completely.

My hubby and I have been going to Rubio's regularly since we moved to San Diego a year and a half ago. We've gone to different locations, but this one is special. The staff is energetic, very friendly and the food cannot be more fresh and appetizing. I love the salsa verde shrimp tacos, but I recently tried the mango avocado bowl and it's to die for... Rubio's at Camino del Sur deserves more than 5 stars 😊.

The Manager provided great customer service after there was some confusion with my order and I received the incorrect item twice. Sometimes as a customer, you anticipate a little push back from businesses when an issue comes up, but I didn’t feel that in this case. They were terrific at resolving my order. This was extremely important to me since I have many food allergies. I’ll definitely be going back to that location.

I was gonna give a one star for service but the burger 🍔 is still good. Service went way down in this location. The servers are rude and all they did was talk about overdraft fees and gossip. They did say a couple for rude words and when I was waiting to order they didn’t even great me I had to say that I was ready to order before they took my order. Disappointing.

The food was very good and prices are decent. The location is great and the inside was nice and clean. Very busy and we had to sit outside but I’m glad they had on the heaters because we had our young daughter and with our friends who have a young son so being able to stay warm when it’s too crowded inside and cold outside is good.

Great burgers, cooked AFTER you order them, not before! Everything is custom made just how you order it, fresh and hot. Great service and quick service considering it's cooked fresh. Oh, and a 1/4 Charburger with cheese is cheaper than a Quarter Pounder with Cheese, and at Mickey D's the burgers come out cold and the cheese isn't even melted. No comparison. 5 stars for sure!

Yesterday, my husband (a Marine) returned from an eight month deployment in Iraq. My daughter and I waited for him to arrive at the San Diego Airport. There were hugs and tears of joy when we finally saw him again!!!!!!������
His first words to us were..."I love you and I missed you...I'm tired...I'm sleepy...and I'm HUNGRY!!!!" (Lol!!)
So, our first priority was to get him something "great" to eat on his first day back home.
I know how much my husband loves hamburgers, so it was only fitting to take him to The Habit!!
Yes...The Habit was his first meal upon landing and returning to American soil. ��
He ordered the Santa Barbara Burger, fries, and onion rings!! He ate ALL of it without any hesitation!! He was very well pleased and extremely satisfied!!! I ordered the Cobb salad which was delicious as always!!!��

Best burgers in town. Grilled to order using fresh never frozen ground beef. Salads are great you can add ahi tuna steak or tri tip. And it is very inexpensive for what you get. Don't let the line out the door intimidate you they are quick.
