Ventured out of downtown and had dinner at Pueblo on Friday night. Even before walking in, I noticed the beautiful landscaping (love the tree on the patio) and the lighting! So pretty! The staff was attentive and knowledgeable. I loved that their drink menu had a variety of Baja wines and craft beers out of Tijuana! As for the food, we started off with chips/guacamole and the sea urchin special. Then had the fish tacos and carne asada plate. Finished with the creme brûlée...yum! Loved the food and the atmosphere! Will definitely be back! Salud!
Amazing staff working here! A really cool atmosphere for an evening dinner spot. Play good music also. Large bar area, open patio seating, indoor seating, very cozy and modern. Super kind staff, great owner who comes out to say hello. Chef Eduardo is amazing! The stuff he is coming up with is truly unique and different than any place else. The tacos and octopus crudo should not be missed! The desserts are wicked good also!
My girl and I decided to spend the night out in Pacific Beach and we couldn't start drinking and dancing without filling our bellies up. We were in the mood for Seafood and decided on Pueblo. It was a beautiful San Diego evening so we sat outside by the Patio Heater. The vibe was excellent. The service was great and the pricing was average for restaurant eating. We both enjoyed the Lobster Tail dish. Yummy! It was the perfect way to start a night out. We will be back to try some of the other dishes. 10 out of 10, I recommend!
On vacation in SD and stumbled upon this place. The drinks and food were amazing, the atmosphere was lovely (great patio seating), and the service was perfect (thank you, nice waiter guy I forgot to get the name of, for answering my request for suggestions on so many things lol). I’ll definitely stop by here again next trip!
Nice Mexican fusion cuisine in Pacific Beach Area. We all had strong drinks. Braised Short Rib Empanadas tasted as well as they looked. Had the Chicken Enchiladas with Mole sauce. Although it was good the corn tortillas slightly overpowered the mole sauce. Also had chicken tacos and Chile releno mix. Service was fast and good. Seems like they allow dogs in the outside area.
Food was good, service was slow and not great and the restaurant itself was cool...but with the open windows there were a lot of flies. Overall this is a cool place to come after a day at the beach - but I wouldn't advise coming for a special occasion or for a nice date night. The prices are set for those type of things - but I'd say it is really more of a nice Rubio's type of dinner.
We went to this restaurant with my dog, got a patio sitting, it was amazing weather and of course the food was delicious. They have a section for vegetarians/ vegans on the menu. Food was delicious and we enjoyed it including my dog :)
This meal was FLAWLESS. Quick from the kitchen- we didn’t have a single bad bite the whole meal. We had the carne asada tacos and Tijuana street corn…every aspect of each part of the meal was flavorful and well textured. Will definitely come back if we are in the area. Delicious. Service was great.
So sometimes I go to places that are just conveniently wherever I am and I need to pick up some food real quick. Because let me tell you I got some picky children! This was the case for this Restaurant Pueblo. I didn't have much faith in it, as it just looked like another trendy Mexican restaurant...
BUT... turns out I am greatly and pleasantly surprised. They had excellent customer service and phenomenal Fresh Mexican food. My son asked me if this was what real Mexican food tasted like because it was different than before. I told him not all restaurants are created equal you have to really put passion and love into the food that's why it tastes so good. I will make sure to patronize Pueblo more often.

Really enjoyed our dinner here when we were in town. The atmosphere is very relaxing. The margaritas are great as is the selection and quality of menu options. Service was attentive and very pleasurable.
We will definitely be coming back next time we are in town.
A really nice spot in PB if you prefer the crowd a little older. The fish tacos were excellent and there is a great selection of margaritas. Definitely start with the birria empanadas, delicious!
