Stellar service, staff, atmosphere and food. The mushrooms are YUM! and I'm sure my burger on the way is as well!! A must stop by and try: Rhanks Urban Mo's!!!

Thoroughly enjoyed ourselves as a group of straight guys and gals. The Halloween decor is incredible and miles better than any other bars. The Rocky Horror Picture Show is being screened with a live cast accompanying the movie - and that is truly the most memorable event for me in the last few months.

We felt so at home here! The service is amazing, and everyone that we interacted with was sweet, bubbly, and absolutely hilarious. It was my friends birthday when we walked in and they gave him a happy birthday sash that he wore all night. Truly did make our night and it was a Perfect kickoff off to a wild Hillcrest evening.

I went for my mom’s birthday and it was so much fun. I got the endless pasta, since it was Tuesday, and it was good. I highly recommend the jalapeño business drink! Also they have awesome decorations, my parents told me they always go all out and I agree!

Amazing drink specials. Great food and an entertaining atmosphere with a nightclub built in. What else can you ask for. We were here during halloween, and they go all out with decorations and people dressed up trying to scare you while you eat and drink. $10 long island iced tea pictures.

I just walked by so laughed at Halloween decor and had to take a picture. So I can’t really review, just show you some of the insanity in this scary entrance, decorations!! This is a rowdy place but if you’re into that it sounds like fun!!

The food was great oscar whom served my drinks and meal was very kind and then i headed to the bar where I met Jordan who was the bar tender. I was surprised that Jordan was working very hard to keep the other people drinks in order and there was someone coming in. I had a good time and the atmosphere was sweet with different music

So my big warning to you is that the portion are HUGE!!! I am putting that up front in case you are just skimming through and are wondering what to order.
So I just went here with a group of people from work to get dinner and watch the Wednesday night Dreamgirls Drag show and I have noting but good things to say about the place.
As I said the food was huge portions and the things like the Nachos could feed 10 people and didn't have those sneaky chips that end up without toppings, every one had toppings and it was all yummy. I got the French Dip sandwich and it came with fries and was too much to eat with the shared nachos and I would have considered sharing an entrée if I had known.
The staff was really friendly from the security at the door to the tech crew and of course the servers. Everyone was helpful when I had questions and seemed to be having a good night. They didn't have that "I hate my life" vibe you get from some places.
The show itself was good. For the price you can't beat it and it was about what you would expect for a smaller weeknight show. When I went, it was $16 for the cover and we bought a table for 4 for then $64.
One thing I wish they would have done is told us when each of the performers was doing their last performance for the night. If I had known I would have given out the rest of my dollars or if they had a bucket after the show that could be split between all the performers I know several people in my group would have been happy to give the rest of our dollars we had been holding onto to the performers.
The bar has a good atmosphere, reasonable prices, and would be a nice place to meet up for a first date or to hang out with friends. It was clean and modern and felt safe and comfortable for everyone.
I recommend you try going here if you are in SD if you are looking for a gay bar or if you are looking for the show!

This was my first time at a Drag Brunch and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. As a queer black 41 year old woman marrying a man, sometimes I feel my queerness gets buried so drag shows and queer bars really help me keep my full self alive.
My besties planned my mellow bachelorette in San Diego and picked this brunch for the interactive elements and the great reviews and I am so thankful they did.
The food was fab, the mimosas were tasty, and the service was epic. They all had a lot on their plates keeping party groups, multiple Bach parties (we had brides and grooms and that was so great), and birthdays all happening but my glass was never empty and folks were always checking in.
Please forgive me for forgetting the name of our amazing MC in the pink tropical outfit and nameplate chain (which makes me feel even worse for forgetting) …but this wonderful human made the environment so fun from welcoming us in to seeing us all out. Their energy really set the tone for the event and kicked us off with joy.
The host Queen, Kickxy, was not only talented and beyond gorgeous, but made the interactive part so much fun. I was scared at first but the whole atmosphere relaxed me and while my team didn’t win, I think we all felt like winners.
So thank you all from the bottom of my witchy heart and if any one of you want to come to a wedding in 21 days in Seattle, hit me up.

First experience at Urban Mo’s last night fir their Dream Girls Revue (Drag show). We purchased our two $15 tickets in advance for seating at a shared table of four. Our server came by several times for our drink orders (and food if we wanted) and payment was electronic at the table.
The venue itself is pretty large and the staff is friendly and welcoming. This was my husbands first drag show and last night there were three regular drag queen performers, one guest drag queen and one regular drag king performer. It was all lip sync and dance performances with some impersonations and some creative interpretations. The stage is small but the back lit screen featured some great graphics and video.
It has been a long long time since I attended a drag show and my husbands first time so while I didn’t think to have dollars to tip for the performers, one staff member was walking around checking to see if patrons needed dollars and he was able to quickly accommodate before the show began.
Neither of us had ever experienced a drag king and this performer was excellent and very creative. One performer started off with an impersonation of Prince lip syncing to “Nothing Compares to You” which Sinead O’Connor is best known for and then they transitioned into an impersonation of Sinead O’Connor and this was really awesome.
Seating began at 6pm and the show itself ran from 7 pm - 9pm. The show was entertaining and the patrons all seemed enthusiastic and supportive of the performers as they made it rain dollars fir the performers. This was a fun night for both my husband and I and I can recommend the experience. A diversity of patrons were present, all ages, genders and sexualities.
