Wow! Sushi slaaaappppssssss. The freshness of the ingredients and the flavor profiles you experience is just unbelievable. When you sit at the sushi bar, you get to literally watch them make it right in front of you while talking to the chefs.
Drink was also good. Really really enjoyed this place. Glad I made it here before I left SD.
Absolutely you should come here !!
The atmosphere is classy which I prefer. Everyone who works here is dressed so nicely & proper !
I was greeted so joyfully by the host & was seated at the sushi bar. I was quickly attended to and my drink was brought to me quickly. The second I was done eating a young man would come by and take away all my used dishes. Service is unmatched !!!
Now, I just Loved The Sushi master’s skills and kindness. Each roll he made for me was exquisite especially the STARDUST.
Please try it , might be your favorite too!
Everything I ordered was phenomenal & VERY fresh. Will certainly come here again soon and I hope to be served by the same Sushi Master ! What a wonderful time !
We found a new sushi spot for sure. We loved our whole experience. We sat at the sushi bar because we didn’t make a reservation- probably a good idea to do so on a busy Saturday. We got the dumplings 10/10, salmon 4 ways 10/10, some of the best salmon I’ve ever had! “R u kidding me” was so delish 10/10 and of course everything was fresh. Next time I want to try the uni toast but I’m pregnant and avoiding Tuna but chef recommend that for sure. The ONLY thing I would rate 8/10 was the shrimp fried rice. My boyfriend munched it up and thought it was very generous with shrimp. I guess I would have liked to see more to the dish like some scallions or one other thing than just shrimp & rice. Overall we are excited to go back & highly recommend.
Small cozy place with delicious and high quality sushi and sashimi. We all loved the lobster roll sushi! The wine list is limited but does a good job at pairing the sushi. Service was fast and friendly.
Pretty good sushi and decent price. Didn’t feel very authentically Japanese , but a good date spot. Recommend getting a reservation in advance, it does get packed quickly. We enjoyed the tuna four ways which was a very popular order
Food is great here, but what really surprised us were the veggie options. Pretty sure that’s the best veggie sushi we’ve had so far. The vibe is there in every way and is supported by both staff and design. It was a good decision to stop here, if you’re in San Diego, stop by!
This is a great option for a larger group, we had 6, and there's seating in two levels. On the first floor you can watch then prepare beautiful, masterful, delicious dishes that will leave your mouth watering. All the sushi we had was incredible and they have spice and "adventure" options for everyone. The service was fantastic (knowledge, courteous, fast, and attentive) and I would definitely return. I'm just sorry I only got 1 picture because entering was beautiful...so we dug in quick, and that tells you what you need to know!
Decadent ambience and experience. My boyfriend and I luckily got the last seats by the sushi bar at 7:00 before it became reservation only and an hour standby wait. The setting was intimate and cozy. Our sushi chef had wonderful recommendations. He recommended chu-toro (medium fatty tuna) and the blue fin toro roll. We ordered the chef's special and he gave us 5 different styles of fish with thick cuts (12 pieces) for $38. Such a great deal with AMAZING melt in your mouth quality. We tried the Black Sea bream, smoked albacore, salmon, medium fatty tuna, and yellowtail. I've never had a better yellowtail in my life. The chef said he sliced right from the fish's belly. So impressed & happy with our experience.
The bluefin roll had three different types of tuna, pickles, and was really yummy. Would definitely recommend this roll and this place for an unforgettable date night.

We went to have an anniversary dinner and what better way than sushi? Everything was delicious. A bit on the pricy side but it was worth the experience. Our server was lovely and gave suggestions around the area on what to do. She also checked up on us often. Sake toro was a nice cut of fatty salmon. The karaage with sweet pickles was a delicious appetizer; the pickles had a refreshing taste on the palate. The crispy rice was definitely a favorite as well. Kakuni was okay. The stardust roll is something very different I have had. Which was not bad. By the border and Kobe are a favorite. House smoked salmon skin probably would taste better as a hand roll. I didn’t take a photo of the drinks but i got a strawberry kush 6/10 and a matcha man 10/10 a drink I have never had before with a unique wasabi flavor to it. I would definitely go back.
Went here for my girlfriend’s birthday, was absolutely amazed by the service and the food! Location is convenient as well, parking wasn’t very hard to find (although it was a Tuesday night for reference). Very accommodating to our large group, and the servers were very attentive to us. Would absolutely go again!
