This place is spacious. There are plenty of TV monitors throughout for both music and sports. There are two clean one-person restrooms. Their complimentary chips and salsa accompanied with dillled carrots are a plus detail while you wait for your food. Their menu has a good variety of traditional Mexican dishes and soups to choose from, including daily lunch specials. The food portions are generous and the food quality is good. The staff is friendly. They do their best to ensure your cup is always full and you're properly taken care of. A good sign that it's a good place to eat at, is to see a diverse groups of people eating here, from various law enforcement agencies to different workers from the public sector and just other people enjoying their time off to eat here. Both cash and card payment methods are accepted.
Checked it out because of all the great reviews. Most outstanding breakfast we've had in a while. Check out pic of omelette! Even with breakfast you get chips and salsa and also these outstanding little bowl of "pickled" carrots. Kinda sweet pickled with just a bit of onion and jalapeno flavor. Fantastic! We don't get down to Otay Mesa very often but we will definitely come back to Vallarta and try lunch or Dinner.
I was actually very surprised! The food was excellent The service was nice it was very clean lot of tables.
I would highly recommend it if you like Mexican food it's very authentic and good quality ingredients... They need a good marketing company like mine because they should have more clients for as good of food as they have 👍😁
Delicious food and desserts! I ordered Aguachiles for my appetizer, and they were delicious. The shrimp was actually cooked with the lime juice, so the shrimp held all the flavor from the lemon and jalapeño. I would have not changed a thing, because it was perfect and tasted amazing.
For my entree I ordered Pollo en Mole, which came with a chicken breast covered with mole negro. It also came with rice and beans. This plate comes in a very large portion, so you can definitely share this one. The mole had a good flavor and the chicken was juicy. To drink I had an agua fresca de Jamaica. It was not authentic Jamaica, but it was okay.
For dessert, I had Fried Ice Cream, and it was to die for! The shell was so good. It was very crispy and had lots of flavor. The vanilla ice cream was perfectly sweet and creamy. Eating the two together was a beautiful way to end this delicious meal.
I recommend trying their mariscos and fried ice cream!
Really great food this last time I had the fajitas they were great as usual with the exception of to much veggies and little bit of meat.
This place was excellent. They served marinated carrots and bell peppers with the chips and salsa. I had the roasted pork loin. Everything was outstanding.
Great food, outstanding preperation. Caldo de res had great flavor. Beef was tender, corn cob was sweet, and the cheyote was the perfect touch. Flavors combined for hours to produce great taste. Tortillas, beef, cheyote and house salsa make for great taco. Lightning quick service, sports on TV and great cumbia on stereo to entertain.
Yum, delicious and friendly hardworking staff
Really nice staff and really good food. Plus 2 for 1 happy hour. Recommended!
As a Mexican myself, I just say that the food here reminds me of my home. The best mexican food I have tried in the US.
