I've had Bankers Hill restaurant bookmarked for years and I'm glad that I finally had the opportunity to dine here. Came here to celebrate an early birthday with my friends. They were very accomodating. We were sat quickly and waited for my friends to arrive. Our server was very nice and always checked up on us. Food: Had a bottle of Cabernet for dinner along with an Old Fashion Cocktail to start off the night. *House made Potato Chips & Dip *Crispy Chili Glazed Brussels Sprouts with pork belly, sesame and Cilantro * Cheeseburger with Bacon * Gnocchi & Braised Pork Sugo My friends ordered other dishes and they enjoyed it. The cheeseburger was okay. Nothing really stood out to me. The gnocchi was also just okay for me. Unfortunately, my dishes did not WOW me. However, the potato chips and brussel sprouts were delicious. I enjoyed every bite of the brussel sprouts. Overall, a great place to hangout on the weekend and when I'm in SD again, I'd like visit for Brunch.

Have always wanted to go here and made it happen on my last work trip. What a treat!!!! . To drink: KYTai- Charred pineapple spiced bourbon, curaçao, angostura, Tiki bitters, lemon & sugared ginger. To eat: We shared Deviled eggs with lemon potato crisps, Arugula, frisée, and Parmesan, Crispy chili glazed brussels sprouts with pork belly cilantro and toasted sesame and a goat cheese & beet salad. Main course: Short rib with red wine jus, horseradish whipped potatoes and roasted carrot. Staff was absolutely lovely and welcoming. You can tell they have a lot of regulars here based on their conversations with patrons. I would definitely dine here again and highly recommend!

Went for San Diego restaurant week and split a cauliflower app, salmon main, and butterscotch pudding. The taste was incredible for the cauliflower and pudding. The salmon was slightly over salted but otherwise everything was great. Our server was fun and the outdoor eating space had heaters and was wonderful. We also split a pork slider as well for happy hour.

We had a wonderful dinner here. We started off with the deviled eggs, which were probably the best I’ve ever had. They come with house-made chips and veggies. I had the chicken schnitzel. It’s served with garlic mashed potatoes, and is topped with cherry tomatoes and dressing. It was all delicious. My wife had their burger, which was cooked to perfection. She loved it. Neat little establishment. Service was excellent. Highly recommend!

Service was good, atmosphere was relaxed and cozy - really liked it. Drink I ordered was good. Stop by the intersection of Ivy St & Albatross a couple of blocks away to get the best view of planes landing.

Went here for a Christmas party. It was a very nice experience. The truffle fries, bacon brussel sprouts, and chocolate cake were especially good. The party area was nice and enclosed from the rest of the restaurant so it was quiet. There were nice heaters to keep the area warm.
