We loved everything from the food, service and the Margarita I ordered. Our server was fantastic and chipper and the manager was kind and personable. We had the best service/food in a lllooonnggggg time anywhere at this place. Thank you for a wonderful experience, Fat Fish!

Excellent food and ambience. Gets crowded most of the times and there's a waiting line on weekends. We had the carnitas chili verde which has pork carnitas, with green chili sauce, flour tortillas, beans and guacamole.
The dinner menu is extensive with fat fish burrito on fire being a personal favorite. It is a combination of white fish and shrimp stuffed in a burrito with a side of black beans, cheese, sour cream and sliced avocado. Bit pricey, but the quality of food is definitely worth it.
The name of the place leads you to think this is an almost all-fish cuisine. Nothing farther from reality! It is a truly Mexican kind of cuisine. Staff is helpful, menu quite wide. Portions are generous, local beer is tasty. Prices are commensurate. Fish? Yes, some.... Be sure to book, in the summer!
Great food, even greater people/service. Staying at Crystal Pier and got take out from them again. They did not hesitate when I asked about changes to items because of Mom's dietary restrictions. A little pricey but more than worth it. Might try them for breakfast tomorrow.

Nachos were awesome and service was good. I liked the chips and salsa very much. It was a little pricey but was worth it. Definitely will come back.
Relaxed enviornment. Good food and happy hour specials. Good drinks. Not a fan of the fried fish taco. Shrimp taco on the other hand delish!

The enchiladas suiza are amazing! Nice fire pits....good bar area. Nice patio. Parking is ok. Sometimes tough. Right near the beach, one block..... take a stroll after dinner!
The mix of flavors were so delightful. I had the shrimp enchiladas with chipotle cream sauce and my husband had surf and turf tacos. Paired with a simply perfect bloody mary, it was so delicious. The owner's daughter was sweet and a joy to talk with about the general area, giving us great tips for our trip. Worth a visit if you want great food in kick back place with a cool Cali vibe.
Great service and clean spacious atmosphere in the heated outdoor area. Had to go with local favorite fish tacos and wife got chicken enchiladas. Both were outstanding with flavor and balance. Would definitely recommend both plates and their extensive margherita and tequila menu. Plus free chips and salsa is never a bad thing.
Came before dinner rush and was served promptly. We got the Mexican corn, fish taco (2.50ea on Thursday) and lobster taco ($6). The corn was okay, but not as good some of the ones Ive had. I thought the fish taco was okay, but I really enjoyed the lobster in the lobster taco.
I wish they made the tortilla and filling for it smaller to fit the amount of lobster that was actually in it. When I took out a piece of the lobster (they were chopped small like small shrimp size) and ate it itself, it was delicious, but together everything else kinda overwhelmed the taste.
We ordered the churro dessert as well and it was delicious. The churro is fried fresh and it goes well with the raspberry sauce and whipped cream. Did not taste nutella in it though.
I love their in house margarita and shrimp tacos!!! Yummmm :)
Desided to try the Lobster bisque soup last time I was there and absolutely loved it! So I would say those three are my fav so far..

Fat Fish Cantinagrill was a very pleasant surprise. We weren't quite certain what to expect when we arrived, but we were immediately pleased with our choice. The restaurant was clean, we enjoyed the rustic decor, and the outdoor heaters kept us nice and toasty throughout our dining experience.
We were greeted immediately, seated where we requested. Our waiter was attentive, able to thoroughly answer our questions about the menu, and made good recommendations.
The food was delicious, well seasoned, and the portions were generous! The salsa they served with the chips was the best! It was incredibly flavorful with just the right amount of heat.
This place is a true gem. We LOVED the food here. It was an easy walk from the hotel we stayed. The vegetarian tacos was hands down the best I’ve had anywhere in the US. We loved the Sangria and Margaritas but felt the alcohol was less.
Loved this place. Food was delicious. Good place to visit when you're with minors at 9pm in this area. Other places wouldn't serve food to us because of my teen boys which is understandable due to the alcohol. But we wanted to eat dinner near the beach. This place let us sit by fire pit outside even though they were getting ready to close. Would definitely return.
Excellent place had a couple margaritas and beers, food was really good had the shrimp and fish tacos both were excellent, for the main course we had the lobster special, it was excellent, the have handmade tortillas, excellent, they also give you chips and salsa that are amazing, we sat at the bar with Lisa, excellent service, despite the bar being pretty full she took excellent care of us, will definitely be back.
Yup. The fish here was so good it made me well up. I cannot recommend this highly enough. My server was awesome too. She suggested everything and everything was super awesome. I wish I could remember her name.
