De Medici Ristorante Italiano

Been here a couple times now, for brunch and dinner, and I have to say I'm in love! The service is awesome and the staff are all super sweet and friendly. Also been here for their yoga brunch (first sat weekend every month), $38 which includes 1 hour of yoga then brunch and a cocktail.We ordered a kids popcorn shrimp-which were delish and seemed fresh...unlike other places that serve tasteless, crunchy crumbs.

Excellent food. Excellent setting and friendly staff. We ordered an expensive wine and they showed up with a full set old fashion aerator. We ordered Caesar salad and they prepped it at our table which was also neat. This is definitely a higher end restaurant with the kind of theatrics that made our visit a memorable dinner.

Been here a couple of times. The restaurant has an old school feel. It's also pretty good in size. Dine in the dining roomor on the patio. Our server was very nice but I forgot his name. Food: • Tortellini alla Romana • Fettuccine alla Bolognese • Complimentary Bread The food was plentiful and both had great flavors. The pancetta was a bit salty (which I like) but it had a taste that I couldn't figure out. Overall, I'd return and recommend when in the area.

De Medici in the Gaslamp District of San Diego is one of the classic Italian staples in the area! It takes you back to an old world feel that you don’t get to experience in many places. The service was top notch thanks to our fantastic waiter Kennum, he was so friendly and just an all around great guy. The food was excellent; we enjoyed the canneloni appetizer with a delicious vodka sauce to start followed by an exquisite table side Caesar than Kennum prepared, and had the lobster ravioli and chicken Marsala for dinner. The tiramisu, which is homemade, was a classic!! Highly recommend for a quality Italian dinner!!
