Heard about this place across the country. Had to try it when we got here. It lived up to expectations. Large torpedo with ample pasta inside the torpasta. Flavors and sauce were perfect. Service was friendly and quick. Very enjoyable and recommended.
Curiosity brought me here to check out the menu. The food will have me back again at some point. Everything from the meatball pasta sandwich to the garlic parmesan fries and side salad were delicious. I underestimated the size of the sandwich and how full it would be especially since it's loaded with meatballs too. Was told the wait would be 15 min but the food came out faster and nice and hot. The garlic fried were so crispy and flavorful I couldn't stop eating them. The one negative is one you get to the bottom layer it's just too much garlic, but the fries were still crispy down there. The side salad was a pretty decent size and tasted good. All in all I give it its five stars and if given a few more days here, I would come back.
My boyfriend and I specifically stopped here while we were in town because I had seen a video about this place a long time ago and really wanted to go! It definitely didn’t disappoint. We each had a variation of the lasagna torpastas and they were delicious! We each could only eat half and they were also great as leftovers. The staff were very friendly and helpful also. My pictures aren’t great since we were sitting outside in the evening but I’d definitely recommend Torpasta. You can bet we’ll be back to try others next time we’re in town!
So in case you didn't know this place sells killer sandwiches that come in sweet sandwich holders that keep them in the upright position. Eat some out with a fork when it first arrives creating a cave and then dip bread in their specialty sauce of Alfredo and red sauce mixed. They also have awesome kombucha beer. Drank two of them and caught quite a nice head change. Also helps with digestion being that it's kombucha and all. Fun little spot met the owner very nice place to grab some uniquely served food.
On this trip I ordered the pesto with Bow Tie pasta. It is my favorite selection at Devine Pastabilities. It's fresh, zesty, and filling. I got the larg size. I also ordered the jalapeno poppers with cream cheese filling. It was a great meal. If you love pasta and you love bread, there's no better choice. Choose your time wisely because it's close to the sports arena, so it may be packed during a concert or event on the weekend. Eat well!
Torpasta sounds like a weird concept but it works! We tried a Fettuccini Carbonara, a Spaghetti w Meatballs, and a Penne Pasta w Sausage. All had unique flavors and were delicious. You kind of start eating it with a fork with the bread as the bowl, and then at some point you take a bite of the bread with the pasta as sandwich filling. Can't go wrong no matter how you eat it.
Nice casual dining place (fairly large) with waiter service. Has a nice selection of draft beer and a small patio for outside dining.
A cute little place with lots of cool and funny decorations on the walls. Outside seating and a bathroom available.
We tried the fettuccini and meat lovers lasagna, both were good! I'll admit though, the "torpasta" style didnt fully stop us from having a slightly messy lunch but maybe we were eating them wrong lol
Nice service and decent prices.
I wouldn't sit at the booth right next to the door though because every time someone went in or out the first door that's wooden would slam and shake the whole wall, very loud and disturbing.
Will definitely come back and try the other food though!
My favorite carb loading location! Great food and service always. Never a disappointing experience. Unique concept and casual environment. Nice beer and wine selection too! I'm ready to go there again and was just there Friday night! And the dessert....should have had a tortuga but cheesecake always works!
I stumbled upon this little piece if carb heaven and save it in my "places to take my visiting friends and family" list. It is such a great concept and the food is truly "Devine". My favorite is the pesto and sun dried tomatoes with sausage. A must try!
Great place to eat! If you like traditional Italian food they have it. But I suggest their non-traditional approach. We were visiting from out of town on vacation, and searched for something different. We found it, and we're glad we did. Everyone in our party enjoyed the food and the atmosphere.
