My friends and I are on vacation and after being forgotten at another restaurant we came to Brian's 24. We sat ourselves and we're acknowledged quickly with a welcome and drink orders. The food was amazing and a massive amount of it for the price! I got the breakfast burger, the meat was cooked perfectly and piping hot, the veggies were cold and crisp making for an amazing burger! The drink selection at the bar was awesome, the Gaslamp Lemonade was delicious. Overall awesome experience and food and even better staff! A must go for San Diego
So fb asked me for a review because we were just there... It is easiest if I just copy and paste my status I posted on my page after eating there. It's sums it up best.
"So, as y'all know I'm in a financial freefall over here... but Jas is completely unaware, of course. But taking her places has REALLY become more and more difficult, without spending money. So last night after Bassmnt we were hungry so we went to #Brians24. Now y'all already know how much I LOVE this place... like both of us... so I said 'f it, we're gonna go eat'. I get seated, order chicken and waffles, a Pepsi for Jas, a water for me and asked how much is coffee. It was around 3 bucks, so I passed. A few minutes later and the waitress brought me a cup of coffee...i looked up and she said, "don't worry about it"...i thanked her added my cream and sugar and dove into the warm comfort of the coffee. (Believe it or not, I didn't want to go last night. I'm not feeling my best and I'm physically and emotionally exhausted...anywho...). Our food comes and its everything. Like delicious, crunchy, flavorful pieces of chicken with a waffle made by angels . We take our time pretty much devouring the plate... but not quite... it's always a BIG serving. We pack the rest to go and go and open the bill.
"Thank you, this meal is on us".
Y'all know I teared up with my hormonal emotional a**. Could I love Brian's anymore than I already do...? I think not. I really couldn't afford that meal. What a blessing to get your belly full of good food... when you couldn't afford to do it.
Hanging in there y'all. Need your prayers."
Thank you. From the bottom of our heart. You guys are awesome. Much love to the entire crew there.
This place would have been 5 stars but the pancakes were not fluffy (they were more chewy).
My bf got the breakfast burger and it was way better than expected! I mean really good! All you can eat home fries and the coffee was strong. I would go back just to try the French toast.
Cool, fun place! The food seems a little pricey at first, but the portions are ENORMOUS so it all makes sense. We were here for breakfast and it was very cheery and upbeat. The service was great; one of those places where your coffee gets refilled on your second-to-last sip without you having to say a word.
Adorable brunch spot in downtown San Diego. Lovely staff and cute digs! Our food (chicken and waffles & breakfast burrito) were generous portions and tasted great. Would definitely go out of my way for the cereal milk latte again! Will definitely return.
The food was great and the coworkers were so kind. Definitely a 11 out of 10, would recommend. I say it's a nice spot for a young coward base on the environment when I was there. There are other food I wanna try there too.
This restaurant is amazing. We came to San Diego for my brother's senior trip and our goal was not too eat at the same restaurant twice but Brian's 24 was so good that we went there for breakfast two mornings in a row. The stuffed french toast was AMAZING. And my breakfast burger was amazing and I got the sweet potato waffle fries.
The ambiance and music here is very nice. Reminds me of CH holding restaurants but with better food. Food isn’t excellent but it’s good and presented well. The drinks are great. Menu has lots of options both with drinks and food. Location at 6th and F/E is good. The best part is the hours 7am- 2am weekdays and 8am-3am weekends. It was 24hrs pre Covid so maybe will be again.
Buzzed Barbie with hibiscus 🌺 was delicious 🥰 Avocado Toast an Chicken an waffles. The chicken was sweet an perfectly crisp. With portions sizes enough to share! Full bar as well. Beautiful decor an amazing staff!
Always loved this establishment even before the renovation and couldn't wait to try it post pandemic with the new menu. I consider myself a connoisseur of Eggs Benedict and this is hands down one of the best I've had. Compliments to the chef because all the flavors compliment each other.

In short, it's decent. It's good food, strong drinks, and good atmosphere. For 3 people we spent a total of $105. Go earlier than you plan, the wait starts to get long after 11am.
In detail, it's decent. We arrived at 10am and the wait was about 15-20 mins. When we left around 11am, we overheard the host telling guest it's a 40-50 min wait. So the earlier the better. Once inside it was busy and packed. I was back to back with another person in my chair. So it's a small space. Since it was busy service was eh, we got treated as nicely as possible. But the decor was cute. It's a trendy style with memes and mean girl quotes. The food was good. We ordered the soufflé pancakes, the Monte Cristo (pictured), and the chicken and waffles. The chicken was delicious, best part of the whole meal. The Monte Cristo was a French toast sandwich, it had a good mix of savory and sweet. The only problem was that the food got cold fast. And while that's not necessarily their fault, in other reviews others agree with sometimes getting cold food. Overall, it's a nice place to go get brunch with friends as long as you know you'll spend a pretty penny. It's a welcoming environment. And I had a good time. ⭐⭐⭐⭐
This place has very generous portions. Not only are the portions good but the food is great. Service was prompt and the staff was very nice. Went twice, once for breakfast and another for lunch. If you think you can handle the pancake monster go right ahead.
