a wonderful establishment with a delightful interior. the service was perfect. and the food is incredibly delicious. I definitely recommend this place to visit. and we will definitely come back here in the evening to look at the lights. this is by far the best Thai restaurant in San Diego.

Whole fish (pictured is small order for $27), rockfish, great! Papaya salad, fresh and delicious, lots of peanuts, not a lot of carrots. Super! Yellow curry with chicken, thick and full of chicken. Outstanding! Crunchy shrimp? You guessed it, ON POINT! We really enjoyed lunch.

I love Thai food and try to eat in at least one Thai restaurant whenever I am travelling on business. On my trip to San Diego I headed to 'Supannee House of Thai' and the ambiance and menu were spot on for a Thai restaurant. I was hungry so had both Spring Rolls and Chicken Satay to start, followed by Pork Pad Kee Mao. Starters were around $10 each and main dishes $15 so very reasonable. A very nice Thai meal and I certainly recommend it.

I eat Thai food constantly and have been to Thailand many times so I consider myself biased. Supannee was outstanding and the ingredients were so fresh. They also have a lot of special Chef’s dishes that you can’t find anywhere else. Do yourself a favor and eat here!!

Yesterday while we were out by Shelter Island we decided to have lunch at our favorite Thai Restaurant
Supannee House of Thai & Catering. This really is a fantastic place to dine for lunch and dinner. It's always nice that the restaurant staff remembers who you are and gives you a great welcome. I'm glad we decided to have lunch there since they had new menu items and we were willing to try them since we have had some delicious dishes here before.
Chuck and I orders our usual Appetizer which is called Nom Kao Tod which is our favorite appetizer. Its always delicious.Next we decided to order their new dish Khao Soi
You won't find khao soil in many Thai restaurants because it's more of a Northern Thai Dish. The dish is more of a soup that is served with both egg noodles and fried noodles along with a Coconut curry base and served Thai condiments.
I had my Khao Soi with Shrimp and Calamari and Chuck his with Roasted Duck. The curry base was rich and flavorful and noodles were cooked perfectly. The shrimp, Calamari, and duck were tender and absorbed the curry base nicely. This was the best Khao Soi we have had in San Diego.
Overall we always have a great experience here and we always feel welcomed.

Brought my family here to celebrate my birthday. What a pleasant surprise to see our favorite server T.K. It was a plus for us to be seated at her section.
Ordered:
-Garlic Chicken Wings $8.99– crispy and full of yummy garlic.
-Mango Curry with Mock Duck $15.99– deep tasty flavor, sweet and sour, perfect combination with curry.
-Pad Thai Noodles $14.99
-Crab Fried Rice $19.99
-Nam Kao Tod $14.99– delicious! Loved the combo of peanuts and chunky tasty sausages.
-Shrimp Tom Kha $16.99– creamy.

What can we say about T. K. She went above and beyond. She made my birthday celebration really special. Very attentive, speedy and pleasant. As much as she was busy, always made time to come by and have a quick chat with us. Thank you, T.K.! Until next time 😄

I was in Las Diego for the first time with my 2 daughters and we were looking for something to eat after a long day. We found this place and trust me, we were NOT disappointed. The food was absolutely delicious! It's so good quality and very rich in flavour. When you take that first bite all the flavors explode in your mouth! The drinks are also SO GOOD!! I am literally speechless, it is so freaking good, I swear. The interior is very nicely decorated too! The lighting is just right. The waiters are very nice, they are very patient.

Our family had been eating at this restaurant each time we were in the area. Very authentic Thai food. Love the decor and lighting--made for a very intimate dining experience. Wait could be quite long for large parties and the restaurant parking was bad. Had to park in other area and walked over to the restaurant.
Food tasted great and seemed very consistent during each of our visits. Our favorite rock fish was hit or miss though. Had to knock down a star due to service. Not as quick as other times, had to constantly asked several time for spices or common items.

We arrived about 45 before closing expecting to be treated like those people that arrive 45 mins before closing. Instead we were greeted and seated within a minute of arriving. Friendly, efficient service from ordering to eating. They even packaged our leftovers for us. Great experience, we will absolutely return when visiting in the future.

This is one of our favorite restaurants in San Diego. The food is amazing, the atmosphere is comfortable, and the staff is always so friendly. The presentation of the food is also beautiful!
Highly recommend: the spicy noodle and ANY of the curries. I love the panang curry especially, but every time I’ve tried one from yellow curry to massaman, it’s the absolute best! Large portion sizes too which is amazing!
The Thai iced tea is delicious, and they also have other fun tea and coffee options, including boba!
You can go casual or dress up for a date night, either way, it’s a great spot!

I had the garlic wings as an appetizer and the Panang curry for a main dish.
The garlic wings were perfectly cooked, ultra crispy and flavorful.
The panang curry was everything you want in a curry. Savory, creamy and delicious.
The portion size was great, the presentation was good and the service was spotless.
I was also shocked at how reasonable the meal was for Point Loma. Will return

Best Thai food that I have ever had by far, bar none. Much of the fish and Vegetables are sourced locally. The staff is amazing, the environment is warm and inviting. They always have great specials and an interesting selection of beer and wine. I highly recommend this excellent restaurant!!!

Supannee House of Thai is the best! After toiling through mediocre Thai food in PL for years we finally got a top notch local institution. I have been coming since they opened but thought now I needed to say something. On the regular to-go rotation. Always on point. Unlike many Thai restaurants, each dish here actually shows it distinct flavors rather than being married from some generic stock. Even on my take out orders the quality shines through. We are lucky to have them in the neighborhood.

My wife and I were anything but disappointed! One of the best Thai meals we have ever had. The Whole Rock Fish With Spicy Tamarind Sauce was absolutely stunning. We will be exploring the menu again shortly while revisiting the Summer Rolls and Chicken Satay. Wonderful staff as well!

I would have loved it but service wasn't the greatest. Our waiter was not friendly and never checked on how we liked our food or if we needed anything. We always had to call him over. The food on the other hand was delicious!

I've been dining at Supanee for many years. I love that it's family owned and they source many of their ingredients from their local farms. Wait staff is always friendly, the space is cute and clean, and the service is very good. My favorites have always been the Hawaiian fried rice and the drunken noodles with duck. My one complaint is they are always out of their house made lemongrass tea when I'm there.

So far this place upon my first ever visit has set the bar VERY high for all things authentic Thai food. Most of all their shrimp summer roll and their outstanding Thai fried whole rockfish entree. It looked amazing and was amazing. A must for the seafood and Thai fan! Great service and nice venue as well.

I was here Monday night with a colleague and the food was amazing. I had the Coconut Soup, w/chicken and Drunken Noodles with Shrimp. The food was amazing. Our server was awesome and took the time to explain the dishes and his suggestions for us, were on point! If I lived closer to the restaurant, I would be a regular.
