This place is sooo good! Anything you order is amazing. Yesterday, I was craving curry goat but I was closer to a different Jamaican restaurant and it was a mistake, the food was horrible so I had to get curry goat from Caribbean taste to get my fix today, and of course they didn’t disappoint. I won’t ever order from other place again!

Idk what type of voodoo magic is in this food but it is ssoooo good mmm if u go starving this place hits the spot ! I ordered goat curry and got a pineapple soda i will have to ask for extra plantains next time. Homy atmosphere great low key spot.

As of now, this has been my second time visiting the Caribbean Taste. Both times I ordered the large oxtail plate, roughly $20, which comes with rice and peas, vegetables, and sweet plantains. One thing for certain, they give you an abundance of food and the flavor profile of the popular Jamaican cuisine is there. The downside of it all is that you regret attempting to eat the entire plate and later suffer from being full and satisfied; drowsiness kicks in.

My favorite is the large chicken curry. Includes rice and peas, mixed veggies(cabbage, corn & carrots), a serving of 3-4 fried plantains and a large portion of stewed chicken that falls off the bone in a curry gravy.

I took a weekend trip out to San Diego and right before I left me and my friend ordered food from here. I ordered the brown stew fish plate, it was so good I wanted to eat it all in one sitting but my stomach wouldn’t let me. I heat it up the next day it taste just as good as the day before. I love how they’re not stingy on the serving either especially the plantains they packed both our plates up. I highly recommend this restaurant.

THEY NOW ACCEPT CREDIT CARD PAYMENTS . I had chest pains after all of that salt consumption . It was good spicy food and they cooked it fast but I was not looking for that much salty flavor sauce in my food . Are there any vegetarian options ? Why is there no nutritional info in the menu ? Why are there so many marijuana smokers standing outside of the doorway ? Two beggars asked me for change as I walked to this restaurant from the laundry place . Light rail trolley is across the street .

I always get the jerk chicken when I go. It is absolutely my favorite dish. I do wonder if they do party platters for the jerk chicken and oxtail dishes.

My pops took us to this place that I have never been to before, where we orderd 2 small plate of Oxtail and Jerk chicken dinners. After we were home and taste the food, WOW! I just had to share with my neighbors. I will definitely be going back, the food was EXCELLENT!
