Hot Licks

Had to rate this place. Amazing and knowledgeable staff who are also excited about hot sauce which made the experience of shopping way more enjoyable! Tony is a gem! Knows his stuff, gave great recommendations on what to get and what to pair everything with. They have a great selection of sauces! Store is a perfect size too! Can't wait to go back! Loved it there. A++++ to the team.

A gem of a store for those who enjoy hot sauces and spicy treats. They carry a wide range of options most of which are self branded sauces. Stafaffed with helpful and friendly people. Feel free to tatse test. I would highly recommend all those tasting options on the particularly the green jalapeños hot sauce, which is mild in heat.

Absolutely amazing experience when entering this hot sauce shop. The associates working on July 6 knew their products well. We were attended to a female (apologies if not identifying as that) associate who knew the products in shop. She was knowledgeable in their signature product's label and prices historically. As well introduced to a brand based on a question with a specific ingredient to it. Her coworker was attending to a family visiting from out of state and his energy and knowledge matched with his coworkers. The synergy in that shop and the associates promoting a welcoming atmosphere to the people that visit Hot Licks is a much earned 5 stars. Thank you for taking care of us.

We love visiting Hot Licks every time we’re in SD. They have so many unique hot sauces to pick from. We were just there a few days ago and had a great experience. I wish we had gotten both employees’ names because they were so nice and fun to chat with. I believe Tony was one of the 2 people. The other employee was a younger woman with dark hair. My husband and I took our two small Chihuahua mixes into the store and both employees loved meeting them. They were very helpful and welcoming. We went into quite a few stores there that day and Hot Licks was our favorite! 😊

I really enjoyed looking for a gift for my husband who grows cayennes ghost peppers habaneros jalapenos and Carolina reapers in our backyard. Let's just say my husband is a big fan of all things hot. I spoke with a very knowledge gentleman who directed me to the Red Reaper Hot Sauce. My husband LOVED it and i intend to buy him more. THANK YOU!!!
