Easily among the top pizzas I've ever had. Crust was seasoned and has a perfect marriage of chew and crunch. Even a plain cheese pizza (for the kiddo) was fantastic. For the adults we ordered the pizza al Pastor. What a unique flavor that works SO well on a pizza. We'll definitely come back for the Hungry Chameleon!
Always excited to try new eateries and new flavors. Biggest downfall: took an hour to get our food. Second downfall: the gentleman kept pulling his mask under his nose...I get it; it’s hot back there, but we’re in the middle of a pandemic, and you’re making people’s food. The Food: UH-MAZ-ING! We ordered the Chicken Mole , the Authentic Queso Churrizo Flameado, and the Hungry Chameleon Pizzas. I ordered them from least favorite to favorite for me (my sister’s companion agreed). Officially, the Hungry Chameleon was my pizza, and it was amazingly delicious! I have never tried banana peppers, it was part of the experience, so I kept them on. Loved them! The mozzarella cheese was what did it for me, but in all, the Hungry Chameleon was worth coming back for...but next time...I think we will order ahead.
The pizza's were actually great for a whole in the wall place. Very small but big on taste. I do recommend visiting and grab yourself a slice.
I found Hungry Chameleon by searching for the highest rated pizzerias in San Antonio... and they did not disappoint! Highly recommend the Texana BBQ pizza. Also, very friendly and efficient service when I arrived to pick up my order. We can’t wait to order again and try some of the other unique options off the menu. Definitely give them a try!
The service here is absolutely amazing. The owners go out of their way to be kind and offer great service. My husband and I tried the chicken mole pizza and the al pastor, both of which were delicious. The chicken mole was my favorite, the amount of spice was perfect. The al pastor was my husbands favorite, the meat has wonderful flavor along with the sauce. Both pizzas had generous amounts of toppings, and a perfectly crisp crust. This is definitely our new favorite place!
Good homemade pizza. Nice to taste food made by real people with no major corporate recipe. The slight imperfections made it a wonderful dinner. Super nice family establishment.
This pizza is HEAVENLY, the location is charming, and the folks who make your pizza could not be cuter if they tried. The crust isn’t like one I’ve had before, another review noted how easy it was to chew and that’s kind of a funny thing to comment on but it’s true. I really liked it and you should definitely grab pizza here.
Just give extra time as everyone else knows how good they are as well so it’ll take a little while to get yours.
Love this place. Great pizza with some unique and delicious combinations. Have only ever gotten my order wrong once, and when they did they had the correct order made and delivered to me within 15 minutes.
I order from here a good bit and will continue to do so, definitely give it a try!
