Very nice family owned business & food was delicious! Our little one loved the teriyaki and we loved the sushi!
We have always been happy with Chin's Garden. Good crispy beef, and crab Rangoon. Tofu fried rice is also always good. They deliver to a limited area, and we are just in the boarder so have only done carry out or delivery, never eaten there.
This is a family favorite! We live within 2 miles and usually pick our order up to bring home. The food quality has always been excellent. We have lived in Japan and travelled many times to Hong Kong, and we find their food to be just as good as those places. Their hot and sour soup is the best we have ever had anywhere, including Hong Kong!
Best Chinese Food in San Antonio!. We love the food, atmosphere and Amy, John, Peter and Mary! This is the only Chinese restaurant we go to and order food from. The Mongolian beef is great! I like the black pepper chicken and my 91 year old Mother likes the chop suey. They always make sure that the vegetables are soft for her and they give her extra cucumber salad because they know she likes it. Best restaurant in town!!!

No complaints. Good service and good food. I like that all their chicken dishes are made with white meat. They make their eggrolls; however, they do not make their dumplings. They have lunch and dinner specials that come with rice (steamed or fried), eggroll, and soup (egg drop, hot and sour, or wonton). Note that the dinner special is only available from 5-6pm. The egg drop and hot and sour soups were good. The egg rolls were hot, fresh, and crispy. The General Tso chicken had a great flavor and was crispy, holding all that thick, dark, and sweet sauce that was like honey. The brocolli was cooked just right and still had a little crunch to it. The restaurant was clean and cozy. They also deliver. I'll definitely be back to try other entrees.
This place is wonderful. Finally a good Chinese resturaunt that delivers and has great menu!!
Awesome. Went based on reviews. We were in the area( not where we live) and wanted Chine food. We found them via Urban Spoon.
Ordered takeout.
Staff was quick took take order.
Gave us table to wait at and even brought out large ice cold waters with a lemon wedge while we waited. Decor was nice. Place was very clean.
We loved what we ordered, even after driving for 30 minutes while it sat in the bag.
We would return for more.
One of my favorite Chinese restaurants in San Antonio. Went there when I had a soup craving. Miso soup was amazing. If you can elevate the basic simple dishes, then... Haven't been disappointed yet. Food...amazing. Service...fantastic / attentive. Ambience...very nice.
Chin's Garden. Chin's has become a staple in our home. We take out on a regular basis. The food is excellent, fast, and reasonably priced. The people are the best: hardworking and friendly it is a place you want to spend your money.
I like locally owned restaurants. This place is a great hidden gem. They have lunch and dinner specials daily. Their food, service, and prices are reasonable. The staff is courteous, and I can't say enough about the place. Finally, they survived the recent pandemic, and I am thankful.
The plates are off the dinner menu. One is chicken with vegetables and the other Kung po beef. Each was accompanied by a small cup of soup. I hope your experience is as good as ours.
If time, order a take out of family sized pork fried rice.
I came here with my boyfriend and we both ordered sesame chicken it was my first time here. The presentation was great and the service was spot on fast like ridiculously amazing fast. We are always looking for some tasty spots in SA this one had to be one of my favorite spots.
everybody is so kind as soon as you walk in through the door up until the moment you leave.
They give you a very good portion compared to other restaurants and all at good price too,
I - (We) will definitely be coming back for more
My rating for this place is 10/10 hidden gem.
If your hungry and debating what to eat just stop by and try it out for yourself
This place deserves a line out the door with this food! I would wait an hour to get a table here if I had to. I promise I'm not just fanboying over here. They're menu is almost the size of Cheesecake Factory. They have Chinese, sushi, and other dishes. The level of service was excellent. I use the same test at every Chinese place I go to: How's the lemon chicken??
Brooo when I say this top 2 lemon chicken's in my life, I'm not exaggerating. The moistness of the meat, the flakeyness of the crust, the density and sugar level of the lemon sauce 🤤🤤🤤
The sushi was great too. Better than some sushi-only places in town 🤫
I'm scared to hype this spot too much cause I want to return here with ease, get a table quickly. To see it the other night with only 1 other table was wild. Maybe their more of a lunch place? Either way, i hope yall quit sleeping on this corner spot.
And if you see me there, don't judge me on the bowl of lemon sauce I'm drinking from 😅
The sesame balls were also very delicious. We took an order home to enjoy and finished them before we walked into the house.
Can't rave enough about this place. Will definitely be back soon!
This is one of my favs. Today I placed an order for my office, they don't offer a family size entrees but no problem. I ordered Pepper Steak and lemon chicken off the dinner menu. The food was fresh, delicious my co workers loved it. The eggrolls just flew off the table. Let me grab one quickly!! Try this place for lunch, you'll love it.
This is my favorite place to get my shrimp fried rice from. It's a cute little quiet spot to sit and eat romantically with your mate as well. It's small and cozy. The people that work here are very polite too. I have been coming here for years, but I am really only a fan of the Rice and egg rolls.
lemon chicken is delicious and the sushi is amazing. Super friendly service with a cozy environment! One of my go to restaurants. Will definitely be coming back :)

Ordered wonton soup, combination fried rice, sesame balls, and fried wonton, Really good and definitely coming back. The two ladies who took our order were so nice and attentive. They gave grandma vibes and treated us like family.
This is usually our stop after a long work week. The food is always on point. Their sashimi is the best. Bbq ribs will make you ask for more. Love the sushi. Wouldn't go anywhere else.
So we ordered lo Mein and orange chicken.
The orange chicken was pretty good, as well as the egg roll.
Now the lo mein, it had no flavor!
The only reason I’m giving them 4 stars is because they agreed to refund me for lo mein (and the orange chicken was above average)
The only reason I may return is because it’s close to my house.
My family has been to this restaurant several times, each on a Sunday for lunch. The restaurant is very clean and quite and servers friendly. The food is good but the sushi is only fair. If you want a good, quite lunch visit here on a Sunday afternoon.
