This place is goooooood!!! Soul food but the stick to the ribs type . Had the BBQ ribs and sausage; Collard Greens; BBQ Beans and Cornbread. The service was great. If you haven't been here, you owe it to yourself. Betcha can't eat here just once.
Outstanding Cajun food and BBQ. We haven't found anything on the menu we didn't like. The catfish and hushpuppies are to die for.

Superb service, amazing crawfish etouffe, and delicious BBQ!! The mud pie and apple cobbler were to die for! This one is definitely worth the drive. As a Lousiana native, I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for great food and hospitality.

Went this week and the whole family enjoyed it! It’s nothing fancy, just a small family owned place were you’re taken care of like family. The staff was super friendly and went above and beyond to serve us. Even made a special order of mashed potatoes for my 6 month old and brought out a free appetizer for my hungry, restless toddler. My husband and I had the brisket and smoked chicken. Both were amazing, but the brisket was our favorite for sure. Really tender, thick flavorful slices. Delicious! The smoked chicken was cooked perfectly with just enough crispness to the skin and brushed with barbecue sauce. The portions were huge. My husband toddler and myself all ate on the serving of chicken I got. I believe it was a breast and leg. Red beans and rice were authentic Cajun cooking with lots flavor, and sausage! Our toddler had smoked chicken, macaroni, fries and hush puppies and liked it ALL. The hush puppies were fresh, perfectly cooked, batter had lots of flavor and they contained corn like they should. We will be back for the awesome service and bbq soon!
Ribs were fall off the bone delicious, very meaty and satisfying, mac and cheese was exactly how I like it more dry than soupy though the mac was slightly overcooked (too soft), sweet corn was just your basic cooked frozen corn it needs a little zing, seasoning or maybe a touch of honey. However, at $12.50 for the plate, I was not dissapointed. I had the berry cobbler because they'd run out of peach and it was delicious, very generous portion.

Was happily surprised to find out they have reopened. The Cajun food is legit. Their jambalaya and etoufee tastes just like I'm used to when I go to new Orleans. The catfish was fried to order and was very well seasoned. Everything is seasoned well and homemade. Big portions and excellent friendly staff and service. Will be going back again often and highly recommend.
Lenny’s is the best hidden gem in San Antonio. Cajun and bbq goodness made to perfection! For real y’all, this is THE place to eat! Our family can not wait until they expand their hours!
The biggest and yummiest catfish fillets I’ve had in years.
Ettoufe and catfish plate was enough for two meals for me.
Bbq pulled pork sandwich that was great enough to satisfy my picky 7 year old son.
And gumbo!?! Oh my that gumbo made us think we were in heaven.
I can’t wait to go back and try more!
Best thing of all?! Prices and flavor of the food. 5 starts!
Delicious food and great service! Definitely returning!! Brisket plate, sausage, mac and cheese, garlic mashed potatoes, baked beans, red beans and rice, and crawfish etouffee was all very good!
