Congas Restaurant

This place was incredible! The food was delicious and I found out later, they have a buffet they do around lunch. I will definitely be back to try everything during the lunch buffet. I ordered the steak with onions and my roommate got the fried pork. I was immediately regretting not getting what she got, because it was beyond words. Don't get me wrong, I enjoy my steak but it seemed like steak ums compared to what she ordered lol I highly recommend this location!

Nice little restaurant for good Puerto Rican and Cuban food. Got the Papas Rellena (potato ball stuffed with ground beef) for an appetizer. Ropa Vieja and Bistec Encebollado for dinner. The aroz con gandules is a great side for any of the dishes. Also got the sweet plantains. All of it was very good. Service was very personable. Will definitely be back to try the buffet (served until 3pm on weekdays)!

Great little hole in the wall place that the wife found. Awesome food! Great service! As with most hole in the wall places, air conditioning might not be all that great. But the food and service made up for that, for me. Now the food...... I had the Pechuga a la Plancha Criolla, and it was great! The chicken was very tender and the flavor was amazing! I tasted a bit of the Rabo Encendido, my wife’s plate, and it to was very flavorful, and tender. For this who don’t know, it’s Oxtail, and until you’ve tried it don’t be turned off by that. It’s very Good! Now the only reason I didn’t give five stars was because of the air conditioning in the place. It’s small, a feel of home cooking, but I can’t give half stars and this place was deserving of the extra half star just not five. I would definitely recommend this place if you’re looking for something new to try, or if you want great Puerto Rican or Cuban food.

Wow wow. Right around the corner from my work. Been twice now, once for lunch buffet and once just for the Cuban. The buffet is spectacular and was slightly different both times. The Cuban was incredible with large chunks of shaved meat and fresh fried plantain. The girls that work there and the owners daughter are all pleasant and lovely to deal with. Highly recommend.

This place just opened at the beginning of 2018 so support it and give it your business, it deserves to stay open. They offer a buffet 11am to 3pm they also offer full menu all day M-Sat 11am to 8pm and Sun 11am to 6pm. The buffet is limited but good variety of food and very tasty. The service is excellent. Even though i was having the buffet my server came around several times and my table never had dirty dishes after i went back for more food. They do serve Pepsi products from a fountain which i DO NOT like but that's a personal choice. They do offer bottled and can sodas also. The place is very clean and inviting. Give it a chance you will enjoy it
