River Street Sweets Savannah's Candy Kitchen

So unfortunately I did not take a picture of all the goodies, but that's only because as soon as my box was handed to me, I started chomping away on the delicious treats!! Lots of samples were given which is always a plus!! I had pralines, milk chocolate turtles, truffles, pecan bark and fudge! Also had some mint ice cream which my child said was delicious! Definitely check out this place in Rivercenter mall! You won't be disappointed!

S/O to Joel who was behind the counter in the store at the time he had good customer service. This was my first time in the mall in San Antonio and we never made it past the sweet shop. We stopped in cause the popcorn smell coming out was very enticing and their were people making treats in the store front windows. I got a scoop of the strawberry lemonade sorbet I believe it was. It was soooo good that when I gave a sample to my family members 4 more people went and got a scoop as well. Well done flavors on the sorbet for those of us who are lactose intolerant. I will definitely return on my next visit to SA.

Prices were very high for my taste, but the selection of sweets was amazing. Many things were handmade right in the store. Caramel apples of many different varieties were available and also fudge and chocolate covered caramel turtles and chews. Homemade sorbet and gelato were fresh and cool on a hot day, and the service was very good and staff all had smiles and greeted us with pleasantries.

Imagine wanting to visit San Antonio's famous River Walk. If you park in the Rivercenter garage, if you've just eaten, or plan to, you are met at the bottom floor by delicious smells and a well lit candy shop just inviting you in! As soon as i walked in, a guy (his name is Dom) yelled from the back "WELCOME" and this guy meant business. He offered samples and knew what he was doing. Im like 90% sure he would have took my bag and walked us out the door. Because of his professionalism and joy, he made the trip that much sweeter...(no pun intended). There are plenty of shops on the River Walk that sell candies but not all of them have a Dom. Thanks man!
