The tacos are delicious. The only one I thought tasted bland was the bean and cheese taco. I didn't care for it. But the chorizo and egg was delicious. Definitely a good spot to get some good breakfast.
The original Pedras Negras Cafe. Much of the original decor is still there. The cafe is clean and well-maintained. The menu has a large selection. Parking reminds you of the 1920-1940. Which is not ordinary today. A must try if you are into nostalgia in San Antonio or South Texas.
Had the chance to have your cheese enchiladas today at a holiday party, miss y’all.
Used to eat here a couple times a month, wish Boerne’s a wasn’t such a long drive.

Good food, excellent variety of Mexican food, and good prices, service was ok, waitress was very kind and professional but ended up getting someone else's order. It was corrected, but that is a lack of attention to detail. Parking is bad and very limited.
The food is awesome like if I was really in Piedras negras. This last time we went the service was not that great the waiter forgot some of our stuff and never brought we got up paid and left.
Service and place are quite good. Bought two corn tortilla tacos and have never tasted a home made corn tortilla so fresh and deicious like this place.
Only thing that if you order coffe, its not that quite nice, its where they disappoint you on the price but overall its good.

Yayyyyy!!! It's been almost 3 years since I've had some really good lengua and this taco almost brought me to tears!! The barbacoa was good just a little salty & the mollejas were good just needed a bit more sabor. Definitely would make this drive just for the lengua tacos!!!! The tortillas are amazing as well!
Been eating at this establishment for more than 40 years ! I'm sure the cooks have change but there food remains tasting the same well cooked ! I had the menudo it's always delicious, barbacoa, breakfast & dinners they are amazing wait staff excellent!

Small place tiny walkway to restroom. The server was pleasant and the food was absolutely amazing they makes pig feet into the Menudo which was different and wonderful for me because I actually like Pig feet. But if you don't like pork you don't want to order the Menudo which classically is made with beef only. It was my first time here and I was pleasantly surprised! My boyfriend had his order messed up a little. Maybe because he didn't speak Spanish and our friend reordered for him. I did like this place a lot and I will be back for the Menudo! May God bless you all with undeserved kindness as he has blessed me!
