We having been getting Barbacoa exclusively from Larry for almost 20 years. Whenever we have family over that is all they want on Sunday mornings. Larry takes the time to make a great quality Barbacoa. No one else’s comes close to Larry’s. Thank you Larry and staff for the great food.

Best place ever to get barbacoa! No other place compares to this one. The hot sauce is absolutely amazing. Been going there since I was a little kid. Still as amazing now as it was back then.

First time visiting Larry’s Barbacoa - purchased Barbacoa excellent for $15 lb- Tamales just bought 1/2 dz to try out to find out these Tamales where Bland. Each item is sold separately.

Was drivin through an found this place.. It was pretty good. I got one pound of barbacoa with some of the works pico, avocado, salsa flour/corn tortillas l. One dozen pork tamales they were flavorful too.. The barbacoa was not greasy an it was meaty.. The lady that helped us was very friendly.. It’s a to go only place but they have picnic tables an a convenient store in walking distance.. Definitely will be coming back through this way.. CASH ONLY!!! SmiLe..

Simple place. Walk up to counter and place your order. Lady in front of me in line ordered 4dozen tamales and two big containers of barbacoa, they had her order out immediately and were already helping me. Yes, the barbacoa is very good (and it is all meat - not mixed).
Update: Just came back and it’s still very good barbacoa. I had the tamales and they were a little too coarse for me. Very happy with this place and hope I can make it out this way again someday.

The best barbacoa without question in Bexar County. Service is exceptional, and the barbacoa is phenomenal. Make sure to bring cash when you visit as that is their method of payment. Good job Little Larry!

Just tried them for the first time some of the best Barbacoa I’ve had by far no fat all meat!!!!!!! Must try them out!!!!! Recommend 100%!!!!!!!!!!!!! I Will be going back every weekend!!!
