Best hibachi grill I have ever been to. The food was delicious and plentiful. The steaks were tender, the scallops huge, and the Ahi tuna amazing. Our chef, Jesse, was the best. Never had a better showman/chef at a hibachi grill. They did a great job accommodating our party of 12 at the grill.
We live about 60 miles south and when we go in to SA we like to try different places. I suggested Japanese food, and my fiance and his mom agreed. I googled and Hon Machi came up close to where we were. Our waitress was very nice and attentive. The food was great. We'll be going back.
One of our favorite places to go. The shrimp filet combo is the BEST! It never disappoints and is always phenomenal food. Was a bit slow with service but maybe a busy night for them.
Eli was the very best and made even the shy one in our crew have fun. We sure do miss him.
The food was absolutely delicious. The service was amazing, and the saketini that they make is so good as well! We ordered the dinner for two teppan, priced at $80, it was definitely worth it. We were able to make 4 meals out of it, two there at the restaurant and 2 for lunch the next day from left overs.
Will definitely be back to try other dishes as well.

Loved this place. Food was great. I got the chicken yakisoba, my son got the chicken katsu and wife, the seasoning chicken. All of us loved the food. I just wish we would have sat at the hibachi grill.. The Cook was quite animated. Highly recommended!

Over the years services has definitely dwindled down a bit, and it just takes really long to sit you if they don’t have enough staff during the shift. But food still worthy so we have waited it out to get the dining experience.
This was my first visit, it will definitely not be my last. The food was phenomenal, the staff were very friendly. We didn't sit at the grill area but we were close enough to see the show and feel the heat from the fire. The food was priced as expected for the meals, I have never complained about paying a decent amount when the food is so tasty and the service was great as it was in this case. You will not be disappointed with the food or service.
Phenomenal experience tonight at this restaurant! We made reservations the day before, (you will need a reservation to sit at the hibachi tables- no walk ins allowed!) and we are so glad we did. It was our first time here & we were so pleasantly surprised. We decided on the chef special for 2- ribeye, chicken & shrimp. We had “Mr. T” as our chef. Hilarious & a DARN good cook! Well worth the price. Personally, I’d skip the sushi next time & just work up the appetite for the massive portions of hibachi! We will be back! Read the reviews ahead of time & was worried about “bad service” & “restaurant being unbearably hot”. It does get a little warm, but that’s to be expected when you’re sitting so close to the flat top. Food is worth it! Our service from the server was also very good & prompt. Overall wonderful experience!
*The only con was that the restroom was not taken care of, I felt like I needed to wash my hands after washing my hands in there.*

Friendly service, a little slow to get our sushi ( but it was made to order and rolled fresh) but got our other food at the table quickly, unfortunately the chicken was a little overcooked. The menu is not misleading- when you see the pepper next to the item it will surely not be lacking in the spice department.
I had the most amazing experience at Hon Machi for my birthday celebration with my family! Our Hibachi chef, John, was an absolute gem. Not only was he an incredibly talented chef, but he also had a gift for making every moment at the table enjoyable. His conversational skills were top-notch, keeping us engaged and entertained throughout the entire meal. John's laid-back and humorous approach added an extra layer of fun to our dining experience. We left the restaurant with smiles on our faces and a strong desire to return. When we come back, we'll definitely be crossing our fingers in the hopes that John will be our chef once again. Thank you, Hon Machi, for providing us with an unforgettable birthday celebration filled with delicious food and fantastic company!
First time here and it as great! John was awesome at the grill. We ordered egg rolls and a sushi roll while we waited both were good. The hibachi dinner was $37 I got the filet mignon and it was cooked to perfection. Will def go back.
